Extraordinary food - so simple but so memorable! My mouth is watering at just the thought of their tacos. My advice: order a lot of different ones! You will not be disappointed. A FANTASTIC food truck experience!

I recently visited La Estrella and had a great experience! The tacos and burritos were delicious and the service was incredibly fast. The staff were also very polite and helpful. Prices were good and definitely worth it. Highly recommend La Estrella!
Food is a solid 7. Love eating lengua whether a taco or burrito. Sometimes the lengua is shredded and sometimes cook and diced right. Still tastes good, but texture is not. The service is fast. Food truck is on a main street and close to a 7 Eleven. You might encounter homeless people walking and asking for money. I do think they close at 11pm or 10pm.

The feeling, the atmosphere and the food. It's a food truck but the food is absolutely phenomenal. The service is nice and the food doesn't take long to be prepared. Salsa is provided and the food is outstandingly flavorful.
One of the best taco trucks in Highland Park. The infamous La Estrella truck that could be a building, wedged in a spot just off York. Always has some spicy pastor that is lovely. Rarely has pollo. Carnitas excellent too. Less line than the other trucks by the park. Estrella is an old name in the neighborhood, can't go wrong here. Prices are up, but that's the same everywhere. The days of the 75 cent taco on every corner are gone, and I weep for our collective loss as Los Angelenos.
