Pupusas and shrimp burrito were the bomb. Not to mention, the super burrito was freakishly huge ???? Was my first time trying them out and I really like that they paid attention to the notes in my order. Will definitely be ordering from here again.
I've stayed in the Mission SF and a regular at taco trucks all over San Jose and Oakland.. Stopping by today I got the Birrira tacos with the dipping sauce and lengua tacos. BANGERS, everything was flavorful, moist, and not too salty. I didn't know they came with limes, rabanos, and jalapeños already. So I asked for some, without hesitation they hooked it up extra. I'm definitely coming back next time and tipping for the extra love. It's rare to come across restaurants with this level of quality food. They got beers and micheladas with plenty of spaces to sit. But I got all that at home. I'm trying the burritos next.
This is one of the the best taco truck, they make me come for more, Good food, they have Pupusas, tamales, burritos, salvadorian horchata, tortas, and much more, all in one place
I’ve tried most of the burritos in Vallejo and this is in my opinion the best carne asada super burrito in town. All the ingredients work in perfect synergy with each other, but the carne asada itself is what makes the burrito. Flavorful, perfectly grilled, juicy. Also there’s a really nice sitting area by the food truck. The size of the burritos is very generous. Lightning fast too. My favorite taco truck around.
Great ???? truck! Don't bother with the tripe but the beef and tongue are amazing. The flavors are great and the tacos are traditional (corn tortilla, meat, cilantro, light sauce). The horchata goes fast so get there early for lunch. They have ample parking, but there is only one covered picnic table.
Under new ownership. The salsa is way more spicier. I ordered a bean and cheese with sour cream THATS IT. And they put some sort of meat in it. It's happened a few times. Check your order before you leave.
So update. I still attend this truck often. The food has definitely improved. Their hot sause changes all the time. But usally is pretty good. Haven't had a wrong order in while. My only complaint is I never know where they parked. They move all the time. Maybe an app would help. Overall worth trying.
Beware: the carne asada super burrito is gigantic. Bring a friend.
The husband and wife team @ Tacos el salto are great. They are fast and efficient and make awesome tacos and burritos. Give em a try, salsa is great too!
