Ordered some nachos - just nachos and they were terrible. Hardly any cheese, chips got soggy super fast and they really didn’t taste like anything- bad ideas having them add carne asada to them because they just put a big spoonful of dry carne on top. Just don’t do it-
Another instance to share! Been a loyal customer, prices have gone up, burrito had more veggies than protein. Asked for more salsa and lady rolled her eyes and was irritated by the request. Add protein and cut the attitude!!!!
Excellent tacos! The sauces were great as well and the service was fast!
Only improvements needed are a better announcement system as they use a microphone to announce people's names but the speaker is very echoey and perhaps an updated sign with easier to read prices would be nice also.
Tacos are amazing!! Quick and great customer service. I'm stopping here every time I'm in Goshen! I'd leave 6 stars if I could.
Have come here several times lately. The tacos are good, the tamales taste good but need a little more filling. The burrito is outstanding. It is huge and really a couple could share it. It is very flavorful. Have and will eat here again. Sometimes it seems the hours vary but worth going.
AUTHENTIC 100% Had the tacos. On point! That green sauce though. Sip it like broth. Mmmmmm. Pleasantly surprised. Been a min since i could find that that in a carne asada taco. They it and They lit! Flautas and tamales had a lot of flavor. Muy Bueno! Superr Rico!
I have kept a ranked list of the best tacos in Goshen for over a decade. I always make sure to order steak tacos with cilantro and onion to keep the system fair. And Tacos El Portal just can’t be beat. They’ve been my number one the whole time. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night missing these tacos. Heck, I moved out of state years ago and I’m writing a review right now because I am thinking about these tacos. Sometimes I come back to Goshen just to get a great taco from Tacos El Portal. 10/10. Do yourself a favor and eat one of these. Or like 100.

This is one of my favorite places to get Tamales and Tacos the way they make them in Mexico. I lived on the border of Mexico for many years, 4 miles from the border. I know what real Mexican food tastes like and this little hut does it well. A little expensive but dam it's good food! Thank y'all for being there just when I needed it. I will see you again soon.
