Tacos El Fluffy is amazing! Everything was delicious and cooked with love and was very fresh. We were extremely impressed with the Breakfast tacos that each had a protein choice. So good! Then the breakfast burritos which also get any choice of protein. Do not miss them! The tamales, wow! Fresh and like they were cooked by an abuela! You can choose from pork, chicken, steak, tongue, and even a vegan option. We got the jugo de piña con hibiscus (pineapple and hibiscus), made fresh in house. All the juices are made here fresh. All the employees were so kind, explained the menu thoroughly, and even got to meet the owner who was awesome. The salsas (verde and roja) were both really tasty. The red sauce had a nice heat to it. The green sauce was very delicious. This place is going to have a long future in Pensacola. Don’t miss out!
If you are ever near downtown pensacola area, you have to swing by this place. It's not far from downtown and worth the trip! Please do not let the location turn you away. We went right before closing not knowing what to expect. The inside was super cute, very clean, and the staff was amazing. We had the bean tacos and jalapeño cheese tamale. Both were made fresh and the taste was amazing.
My son loved it so much he wanted to go back again the next day. The 2nd day, he ended up getting the vegetarian tacos (mixture of chickpeas, mushrooms, corn, etc) and bean taco and I got the quesdilla with the same vegetarian filling. All the food was so good! I loved the flavor of the green sauce and pickled onions.
We went at the right time because they got super busy. I don't know if the gentleman that spoke to me was the owner, but it was nice to ask if we been there and what our preference was and gave us ideas of what else to order on the menu.
If you want authentic tacos and you love flavor....I would recommend everyone trying this place! The sweatshirt slogan is cute too! Great job Taco El Fluffy....you have my kiddo hooked on something new! ????
First I’d like to say that the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They also have a bookcase with free kids book (both English and Spanish), which is a first for me…and I love it!
Now to the food. I ordered a chicken taco and a carne asada taco with avocado and Mexican cheese. It cost me an extra 1.60 to add the cheese and avocado (which was ok by me because that’s what I review when I try different restaurants) Needless to say, I wasn’t wowed. The chicken wasn’t what I expected, neither was the carne asada. They both lacked flavor to me and the sliver of avocado should NOT have cost .80.. I’m just being honest.
Love the place, first time being there and they went over the menu with us, love that shows me that they are proud of it and they should be you can taste freshness in their handmade tortilla which is so soft and those homestyle meats are amazing. My favorite was the lengua, meaty, and fatty just on point, I did feel that needed just a little more salt.
This is the absolute best new(er) spot in Pensacola! The family owned and operated space is run by an exceptional team who care about delivering quality food, in the most pleasant experience around. Smiles and hellos greet you as you walk in and immediately can smell how good your meal will be. Breakfast, lunch, snack? This is a must!
We love Tacos el Fluffy!! The food is amazing, the staff are so friendly, and the food is INCREDIBLE! 10/10, recommend to all of your friends!
Edit: just went again on 4/26/24 and learned that the tortillas are all HANDMADE! ❤️
Wow!! What a culinary experience! This is great from the main meal to the dessert. We had a wonderful and super tasty meal one Friday night. Food was very fresh and filling. Flan for dessert was great and definitely made in house.
On our second visit here, we had breakfast. It was super tasty too! Had some wonderful tacos. I went with the lingua, chorizo, and pork skin versions. These were great!
Don't let the location deter you. It is totally OK to go here.
Had the Barbacoa quesadilla. It was fantastic. All fresh ingredients. A marinated the meat for half a day, then slow cooked it. The tortilla was handmade as well. Just became another go to Place!
