These are truly the best tacos in the area!! I call my order in and they’re always done so quick! Pick up and go. SO SO SO GOOD! Portions are great, customer service great! Highly recommend
Don't let the tiny food truck fool you. The authentic Mexican flavors are to die for. I got the Tacos Supreme with chicken. Two hit the spot. Fresh flavorful and delicious street tacos. I can't wait to order other things! The locals love this place. They are busy but they run the biz very well.
My recent visit to Tacos de Don Ramon in Groveland was a delightful time w my son. This taco truck may be modest in size, but it’s bursting with authentic Mexican flavors and charm. I tried both the chicken and al pastor tacos, and each bite was a testament to the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The meats were tender and perfectly seasoned, nestled in soft, warm tortillas.
Accompanying the tacos, I opted for Mexican cokes, which paired wonderfully with the meal, adding a nostalgic touch with their classic sweet flavor. But the real star of the show was their homemade salsa. Not only was it deliciously spicy and flavorful, but it also left a whimsical imprint on the table – a funny Disney ear logo, which added a unique and playful twist to the dining experience.

I can't give them 5 stars because there are times when the food is meh. The chicken can be dry, steak chewy, salsa no flavor, etc. But when the food is good, its really good. The location is not the best and I do agree with the tables being "dirty"; its a food truck though and tables are outside so you really can't avoid it. I haven't ordered in person to judge the service . I do think the tacos are overpriced, it shouldn't be $3 for just one taco. Their burritos are banging and nicely portion. Also, (this might be a me thing) I like that they don't automatically add cheese or sour cream to your order.
Tacos de Don Ramon has some REALLY good tacos that easily stand out even amongst so many other good taco places in Groveland, Clermont and Mascotte. I’ve been here many times and I always leave very satisfied. It’s by no means fancy, but it doesn’t try to be. They have a food truck as well as a garage that they converted into a place with seating so you can have your food fresh right when they call your name.
It may sound weird, especially to someone who didn’t have tacos all the time growing up, but TRY the lengua and cabeza tacos. If you can get past the “weird” factor of these tacos (which they really aren’t weird at all, it’s just that some people are too sheltered and raised in a way to think that tongue and head are “inedible” when in reality they’re the best part) I promise you these tacos are the best they offer here. They’re far juicier than standard beef or even chicken tacos, and I just love them so much. Also, as an aside, don’t try things other than the tacos - every time I do get them (sopes, etc.) I always still think the tacos are better. You can try the spicy pork al pastor tacos as well; they’re pretty good - I honestly would skip the asada and chicken tacos though.
Tacos de Don Ramon has pretty small tacos, so plan to have 4 minimum if you’re not too hungry, and probably 6 if you’re hungry - they also have Mexican sodas and water if you need that as well. They take credit card as well as cash, and they have a bathroom in the garage portion too (so don’t worry if you get your hands messy).
Be sure to ask for all the toppings - onion, cilantro, etc. and also try out the green avocado sauce they keep in their refrigerator! You’ll see a small white fridge in the garage when you sit down. This sauce makes the tacos taste SO much better! All in all, I’ll keep returning again and again. This place is the best! Can’t wait to have more tacos!!
The food here is very basic. I have been to many taco stands in my life that far out shine this one. The prices aren’t very friendly and the overall atmosphere is mediocre at best. I will not return to this stand because nothing stood out and there was no unique or one of a kind aspects. They didn’t even have birria tacos. The food isn’t bad it’s just basic and bland. The chicken wasn’t even seasoned just cooked. The steak was poor quality and chewy. Hope this helps someone out.
Don’t waste your money!!!!
This place needs a real cook. The tacos were extremely bland. The Avocado green sauce was watery and all you can taste was the peppers. It was poorly made. The chicken in the tacos was dry as cardboard. I also had the steak tacos also dry. In addition, I ordered a chicken quesadilla and that fell flat on its face. So many good reviews, maybe they paid for them. In my book this place needs to reevaluate their cooking skills. Oh one more thing, I felt extremely bloated 20 mins after eating my food ????.
