Affordable, authentic tacos ???? the tacos de tripas and lenguas are the highlights! Probably the best tacos I've ever had outside of Mexico. ???????? Highly recommend! I always stop by this place whenever I am in Long Beach!
Tacos Chapala was a great place to eat after we got off the airplane and wanted a good place in Long Beach with an authentic Mexican taste. We knew we were eating good food when numerous locals kept coming in and then we enjoyed a delicious meal that was reasonably priced.
The staff was also really nice and the service was fast.

Excellent Food! Tacos are awesome. I thought I’d try their Wet Burrito. The Pastor here is excellent. I had the Pastor the other day on tacos and again in this enormous wet burrito.
Their chorizo breakfast burrito is my favorite!! I always ask for it with onions and cilantro added. Very kind people, this is a regular spot for me.
To be fair I Really have only ever come here on Tuesday for, yep, you guessed it; Taco's. But I think this this will be my last trip.
All tacos used to be $1.25, which is a reasonable price for street tacos with some flavor. For some unknown reason, carne asada tacos are now $2, while chicken and pork tacos are $1.25.
I ordered 5 tacos not knowing about the price change, and that was $10, when it used to be 1/3 of that price. Then a med size Horchata for $1.90. Voila $13. When the whole lunch should've been less than $10.
On top of all this change, carne asada was dry and lacked the flavor it used to have. The flour tacos themselves were a bit hard, but the only saving Grace the amount of food given, and the salsa is great and they come with sauteed onion's and Serrano peppers, upon request.
However, great salsas and sauteed onion's and Serrano's aren't going to be enough to bring me back to Taco's Chapala. The tacos used to be amazing. Now there's no ama- or - zing.
Yes yes great tocos....THE BOMB!!! I know thats an old term but its true these tacos are good as hell. Perfect taste and perfect spicy hot flavor! This is definitely my new taco spot in LB
The food is great since day one and they're practicing social distancing and also required to wear a face mask before they serve you.
Great food, great price. Wish it were easier to park here but there is a shopping center across the street.
