The best Mexican food in town. Handmade tortillas, the Asda is seasoned to perfection. I tried the Asda plate and it did not disappoint. The rice and beans are so good. The tacos were tender, juicy, and well seasoned.
Been waiting for a great authentic local taco spot and it’s finally here. Self service chips and salsa counter which is already a huge plus. Salsas are all super fresh and flavorful. They definitely don’t hold back on the spice for a couple of them. I tried the al pastor pork and a few of the beef tacos. From what I can tell the pastor isn’t sliced off a trompo but the flavor was still superb. Beef was the highlight for me, especially the asada and cabeza. Affordable pricing at $3 a taco, they have a combo of 8 tacos for $21 too. Highly recommend stopping for a bite. Wouldn’t surprise me if they have a line out the door before too long!
The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond. First time here I got the tacos Al Pastor.it was amazing!! I highly recommend this place!! Horchata was amazing I finished it so fast and they refilled it on the house!! Food is top quality at a great price. Highly recommend!
No wait and extremely friendly service. The asada and al pastor tacos are generously filled, fresh, and packed with flavor! Don't forget to try their DIY salsa bar. Overall, Al Vapor Michoacan is a wonderful addition to downtown Los Altos. I'll definitely be back soon.
So good! Tried 4 tacos (asada, pollo, carnitas and Al pastor), all were delicious. They are $3 each and are generously filled with meat. There is a salad bar with chips and all the salsas I tried were fresh and flavorful. So glad to have this type of taco shop in town. Quick, casual, and so so good.
We know a lot of places to eat good Mexican food and this is now our spot. It's soooo good and that's an understatement. My wife got chicken tacos and Al Pastor tacos and I got the Torta with Al Pastor. Everything was so good the meats were juicy, the salsa Verde was very tasty, and they give you free chips. We will definitely be back frequently.
BEST Mexican food in Los Altos. Tacos are made with handmade tortillas. All their food is made fresh. Definitely recommend!
The vegetarian tacos were delicious! I’m so used to sad veggie tacos being thoughtless, dull creations, but these had great flavor and were packed with yummy ingredients! I ordered an extra to go! (As a side note, my husband loved his al pastor tacos, and the staff/clientele were extremely friendly and accommodating to our toddler!)
