This is our first time ordering from here. We came in person to order to go. First, the food here is good. The pastor super burrito was a good size and had a lot of flavor. The regular pastor and carnitas tacos were also large. Where this restaurant totally failed is the customer service. The cashier was more occupied putting in sauces in containers than taking your order, and he looks like he's pissed off at the world so forget the greeting or even a some courtesy. It's a bad sign when the customer in front of you warned that they got her order wrong, overcharged her, and she has been waiting over 20 minutes. Well, we waited 25 minutes, and still no food. When I finally asked, I found out our order wasn't put in. Had to order again, and there was no apology or even an excuse given. At least they made it as soon as possible. Food is a very important part of a restaurant, but so is customer service, and this restaurant definitely is not aware of the second part at all. While we waited 35 minutes for our food, the customers were treated as a burden to the workers. Too bad because the food deserves better workers.
Had al pastor Tacos. Taste was overall good. Its located in the same plaza as Mountain Mikes Pizza , just facing Aborn rd and not Capitol Expressway. Decent mexican food options, Also serve Michelada’s.
Food was Great, but I went in with my wife witch is Mexican and I'm African American he wouldn't answer nothing I would ask about my order,so she asked him in Spanish and it was ok, tell i got up to get a refill he spoke better English than me.that tells me if my wife wasn't there,he would have acted like he didn't understand me or didn't want to serve me.
I ordered 3 different burritos which are beef, chicken and pork, and a box of nachos with meat and cheese. So yummy! We were given 2 different spicy sauce, dark sauce is mild while the green one is extremely hot. I love how they put avocado slices into the burrito instead the smashed one, somehow avocado eating that way is more tasteful. Definitely recommend!
Very disappointed. I’ve been coming here for years & always looked the other way when it came to the service. In a few of my experiences it has felt like I’m getting the “They’re doing me a favor” attitude which I don’t like but always disregarded because the food has always been pretty good & made up for it. The flavor appears to be declining. On top of that, this is the 2nd time they give me the wrong order (my fault for not checking it beforehand I guess). Not too difficult of an order, 2 regular wet burritos Al pastor with everything, topped with red sauce, & 2 Large Horchatas, that’s it. Went over the order twice with the cashier, & still got the wrong sauce & meat. I should’ve drove back to the restaurant, but I’m an easy person & thought, what’s done is done, I’m hungry, let’s give it a go. I couldn’t tell if the meat was chicken or carnitas! The flavor was missing, & the green sauce didn’t help. I love catering to our local area restaurants, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this place.
This is my favorite taqueria in Evergreen. The food is delicious and the prices are fair. The food is closer to Tex-Mex than authentic Mexican but it still hits the spot just right. Only downside is that if you dine-in there is no public restroom.
Unfortunately, my chicken enchiladas didn’t come with sour cream or pico de gallo. It usually comes with these things. It also didn’t have green sauce on the enchiladas and the cheese was all dry. It was just tortilla with chicken with no sauce on top of the enchilada! That was pretty sad considering it was almost $20! The enchiladas used to be pretty good but not this time. Maybe it’s a different chef.
Found my new favorite takeout taqueria place. Food is good and I see lots of Latino clients getting takeout so I assume its authentic. Favorite so far is the carne asada burrito.
