Great place either way yummy food and fast and friendly service. My son got two tacos and the rice and beans. The rice and beans was nicely presented but I was really surprised at how flavorful they made the humble rice and bean. I enjoyed the avocado tostado and my brisket taco (not the word they used) was good but I would try something else next time as it really had just one dominating flavor instead of the multitude of flavors of the other things. Friendly servers!
The food here was really tasty and fresh although some of our order was forgotten and staff were slow and rude. Drinks and food were delicious, I just recommend that management have a talk with staff about politeness and energy levels. If you’re not a people person maybe find a new industry.
Decent little taco shop in the Crystal City area. Was very busy during lunch, open kitchen, small uncomfortable folding chairs. Corn Esquites was really good, only complaint was the lime on top was covered in mayo, so squeezing caused messy hands. Birria Tacos had great flavor as did the consome, though the consome cup was very small making dipping less than ideal.
Really nice place for tacos. They have a small menu only Tacos and Quesadilla with small portions and quick service. All of them were tasty as the service was quick.
I ordered Pollo Yucateco was so delicious, my son ordered beef birria and the appetizer was chips with fresh guacamole which was so exquisite in flavor and a generous quantity. Great service, food super delicious and amazing atmosphere. Reminded me of the tacos places in Guadalajara, Jalisco!
OMG! I can’t wait to go again in May!
Ah, Tacombi -- a vibrant fiesta of flavors that turns a simple meal into a culinary carnival. This isn't just any Mexican eatery; it's a place where avocados aren't just smashed, they're elevated to art on the Avocado Tostada, and corn isn't just grilled, it's transformed into a star-studded performance in the form of Corn Esquites.
But let's taco 'bout the main event: the tacos. The Carne Asada Tacos strut onto your plate, bold and beefy, followed by the Seared Fish Tacos, which make a splash with their fresh, zesty flavor. But the real showstopper? The Al Pastor Tacos. This perfect Mexico City marvel, with its marinated pork pirouetting with pineapple, is like a dance of flavors in your mouth. And let's not burrito 'round the bush--the La Bisteca Burrita is a masterpiece of marinated steak that's as tender as a love song in burrito form.
Vegetarians, fear not! The Vegetarian Quesadilla, loaded with sautéed mushrooms, is so good it could convert even the most devout carnivore. It's the kind of dish that makes you question everything you thought you knew about the humble quesadilla.
The service at Tacombi? Imagine your best friend, if your best friend was a taco wizard. Friendly, fast, and fluent in the language of delicious flavors, the staff make you feel right at home in this culinary party. The atmosphere is lively, colorful, and will make you want to stay all day.
In a world of Mexican restaurants, Tacombi stands out like a luchador in a library--bold, unapologetic, and utterly delightful. From the first bite to the last, it's a flavor journey that's as fun as it is satisfying. So, if you find yourself in Arlington with a craving for Mexican that's a cut above the rest, let Tacombi be your guide.
This place is so cute! The food makes it a 4/5 though ????
I got two tacos de al pastor and one birria taco. The pastor is a little lacking in flavor. The pineapple that comes with it makes it taste better, but I’d love to see more flavor in the meat. The birria taco and condone it came with was delicious. I have no notes about that ^^
Overall, I’m pretty happy with the meal I got! The to go packaging is absolutely adorable as well ^^ ! I loved the portions and sauces they gave :) !
We like their Birria Tacos so we often come back here to eat it.
And we like the method to order food as well, where you get a piece of paper and check which items you want.
At this restaurant, they give us order sheets so we can mark what we want to eat and give the sheet back to them so there is no confusion.
Normally we do not wait so long after we order.
The employees take care of customers well.
All the food here is really good, we have eaten pretty much everything on the menu and can only say that the Birria Tacos are our favorite, but everything else is of real good quality. Probably the best taco place around Pentagon City
