My husband and I tried Taco Lu for the first time this weekend and we must say the food, service, drinks, staff was amazing.
Our waiter Spencer was the best server we could ever ask for. Once we told him it was our first time there, he made sure we were not disappointed. He offered suggestions, let us try their different sauces, and he even told us how long our leftovers would last so it wouldn't go to waste.
The food all the way to the syrups and mixers for the drinks were all homemade. As an owner of a business in the bar & beverage industry, we could definitely appreciate that. The Bang Bang Shrimp Nachos with street corn added was AWESOME!
Anyone who visits will not be disappointed. We will most definitely be stopping to Taco Lu on every visit back to Jax Beach as long as they stay open.
Love the decor here! Service is usually pretty good. Super busy place so there can be a wait at times. Food is top notch.
TacoLu still got it! Been coming here for years since 2012 and it was a our go to place for tacos. Used to get super jammed packed and popular back then. For a while we stopped going after moving south to St johns so it was a nice surprise to see they still just as amazing as I remember. You really can't go wrong with their $10 taco with filet mignon for just $5.99 and their bang bang shrimp taco. Needless to say highly recommend it. The vibes and decor is also cool and service is great! They have a full bar too.
Definitely a new favorite for me! Service, staff food and drinks were everything I could hope for! Bang bang shrimp tacos ❤️????❤️????slammin! 10 dollar taco made with a perfectly cooked filet was the jam. The drinks where delicious and the atmosphere was super cool inside and super chill outside. Highly recommended????
One of our favorite spots in Jacksonville!! Great food and reasonably priced. Love the atmosphere and the majority of the time we’ve experienced good customer service. LOVE the salsa!!! They do have decent parking, and have valet as well

The tacos are delicious and reasonably priced. Seriously, the queso is so good, I could practically drink it!
My favorite is the ten dollar taco—okay, it's not actually $10, but it's so tasty it should be! The rest of the tacos are great too, my wife went with some shrimp tacos. The atmosphere is cool with unique decor, and it's family-friendly too. Plus, the staff is always friendly and quick to serve!

These are two of our "entrees" Shrimp Nachos was a box of chips with a small box of shrimp on the side, that's weird. Our three "cheeseburger tacos" were this dehydrated box of despair. I've heard great things, Taco Lu....but never again
