Best WLM Reviews

Foolish me for not checking my order before I left. No sour cream, no green sauce, the chimmi barely had any meat, was dry as heck and uneditable. Would not recommend to anyone if asked.
I really don't like leaving bad reviews. And this really isn't one, but I can't give more stars. I had a steak breakfast burrito. It was hot and had a good size to it. But lacked any sort of seasoning and flavor. If there was green sauce, it was impossible to pick out. Salsa was tomato water and the meat was bland.
Again, if you're looking for a place with nice people and a plain burrito to fill your stomach, you're in the right place. But if you want something that resembles latin flavor, maybe check out another spot.
Went there today for lunch and the lady taking our order wasn’t friendly and pretty rude. When we got our food we notice there were topping we requested missing on our nachos that we asked for when we ordered. So we went back and asked for those topping and they snapped at us and said they don’t serve those items at this location even tho it says on the menu that it came with those said items. So we paid $8 for chips, cheese and meat and also gave them a tip which was a mistake. I actually really liked coming to this place cause the one time I met the owners they seemed super nice but their staff is a different story. Sadly won’t be returning.
There are things you wish would never change, but change comes anyway, and it certainly has for Taco Works.
This is a chain of Mexican food trucks here in Hayden, Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls, and I have loved their food for years, I would have put them up against any other taco joint in the area! They had great food, when all the other trucks were closed, they were open, 7 days a week. I think they started out a family business and they worked hard at it, growing and expanding their business one truck at a time, and you would come to recognize them at their different locations because they ran their food trucks themselves.
That was then.
Today, the food, the people and the service have changed.
They have a high turn around in employees, rarely do I see the same person in two visits, and maybe that's a good thing, because memorable service, it is not.
The food was amazing, but now it's no longer consistent, especially from truck to truck, and I find myself asking 'why did I do this again?' all too frequently.
Today, I just wanted 2 of their hard shell tacos, get some of that flavor I've been missing. Half way thru a taco, it occurred to me the hard shell was appreciably harder to chew than I remembered, and carefully removed those pieces that wouldn't cooperate, only to find they were 3 large pieces of styrofoam or heavy paper that had got into a taco.
Either someone deliberately placed them in there, or they accidentally got into the food, but to tell you the truth, I'm not sure which explanation is better. The tacos are small enough, how do you not see that, and if they didn't see it, what other things don't they see?
And then it occurs to me, I've been hearing really good things about a new Mexican restaurant in the Valley called El Sazon...
Food is good the customer service could use some work. The lady at the register sure could use some customer service skills she’s very rude and when she takes your order on the phone she hangs up even if you’re not done with your order! Then gets rude when you add something in when picking up your order.
Consistently good quality, flavorful Mexican style food across multiple locations.
Friendly & hard working taco dealers ????
Visited on an overcast Saturday afternoon and were greeted with a smile. No waiting in line and our order was ready within five minutes. You're given a beeper to alert you when order is ready, giving you the opportunity to see what is available for your next visit to the Prairie Pavilion. We ordered a chile relleno plate and enchilada plate. Amount of food for the price was reasonable. Flavors were okay, albeit a bit bland--the green sauce added a nice flavor. We'll be back to try burritos and tacos.
First time visitor of Taco Works, was recommended and food was pretty good, but service was absolutely unacceptable. Woman working the register must have been having one hell of a bad day to treat every customer there that poorly. Told her to have a great day! And that I wouldn't be back since she was so rude to everyone shoving the napkins and food in the bag and rudely handing off to customers, and complaining about the pagers asking noise, "Just click the button on the side!' She said in a very rude tone. Won't be back!
