I thought my first time there last week was a fluke...food can't be that good 2nd time around. I was wrong- the food is FIRE... the tortillas are fresh & warm..THE BIRRIA tacos melt in youre mouth.... Al pastor was so good too.. Trio of Salsas are so tasty.. It is clean, fresh, they are getting liquor license soon... Parking in back is abundant...and 2 floors up n down to eat at...TRY the SHRIMP TACOS....DELICIOUS!!!
Fresher, and cheaper than local a competitor down the street. Good proportions and best Pastor Tacos i’ve had inna minute! Steak was greasier than most i’ve had around lake station. Carnitas is a good choice as well. The salsa is house made and gives that in its taste. Charred and served warm <3
Every Mexican joint will be judged off individual preference to what their standards are, with this restaurant it’s a solid pick for tacos and chips & salsa, for the rest of the menus it’s to be explored!
I can see this being good for lake stations small business community bringing life to Central Ave. Would visit again!
I hope they keep good music on the TV and not CNN (although sometimes the authentic places have certain green flags to look for iykyk) I can see this being a good summer-night joint and hope they build out downstairs and give the building a second life!!!
Atmosphere looks and feels amazing!! Al pastor tacos were delicious!! Wasn’t really impressed with steak burrito it was pretty small…Menu was pretty big with a lot of options. Can’t wait to go back n try Birria Tacos!!
Honestly, I feel it's too early to leave a review review, they're new, it's an adjustment, for everyone, restaurant included! So, I think it's best to ignore the negative reviews right now. They will only get better in time, I'm sure, like most restaurants. The food wasn't bad on day one, and it's only been getting better since then. No complaints over here, Taco Station, I see you , do your thang ❤️
The service was AMAZING! Our waitress was someone named Andrea and I feel like she went above and beyond to make our first visit a great one! One of the owners even came to welcome us and thank us for coming. Will definitely be back and definitely recommend!

Omg, everyone has to try this new place! Their quesabirria tacos are to die for. They are VERY juicy and the beef is super tender. They are cheesy and have a VERY good quantity of beef in them. Also!!!! The green salsa is the BEST salsa I’ve ever tried at a Mexican restaurant. This is by FAR the BEST taco place I’ve been to in Indiana!
We decided to give it a chance and we end up really disappointed, the place was really quiet almost empty, even like that the food took like 1 hr to arrive to our table, and it was COLD!!
Our tacos were extremely salty specially the carnitas one, the shredded chicken seemed more like chewed chicken.
The server was pouring salsas and then she used her finger to clean around the bowl!!! It was really gross. Not recommended, they’re better taco places around Lake Station and way cheaper!!!
