Do yourself a favor, stop in to this place. At That One Place. Cool vibe, fast & friendly service, and great food. More than your typical food truck setup. This is like a next level food truck. Accommodating and cozy seating area, heated inside, and options for outside. It was my first time, so I took the owner’s advice and tried the OG menu. Had the Chimichanga, he even made me a half beef, half Sweet Thai Pork. His idea! I asked, “You can do that?” He said “I own it, I can do whatever!” Love it man. Definitely planning a return visit. Wish it was a little closer than 40min away. Oh, the Sweet Thai Pork is out of this world.
Small restaurant / taco with a lot to offer. We were camping at Marion and wanted to stop in town on an evening for dinner and we stumbled across That One Place in google and gave it a try.
The location was easy to find with our map app and we were the first customers there for dinner at 5pm. There is plenty of parking outside along with outdoor seating. The inside was clean and simple, nothing overwhelming.
We had a variety of offerings from shrimp tacos, beef tacos, thai pork tacos, nachos, queso / guacamole and chips. The food was tasty and everyone enjoyed it!
We 100% recommend this hidden secret for those that are camping nearby. You will not be disappointed! Happy eating!
You gotta visit this place!! Such a unique concept in the middle of small town Kansas! Thanks to this well traveled couple, Marion has one of the coolest lunch stops in the state. The food truck sits by the street and is the stationary kitchen and the newly built "shed" next to it houses a small bar-style indoor seating area. There's plenty of room, comfortable seating, a full selection of beers, canned seltzer, soda, it's air conditioned and full service! The menu is a collection of street tacos, nachos, wraps and even sliders. We loved the Tetris shaped tater tots! The owners are friendly and the small town keeps a slow but steady trickle of guests coming thru the doors. The day we stopped they had funny videos playing up on the wall, we had Coors banquet, Mich ultra and Kona Big Wave, the old school tacos, and one of each of the street tacos (chicken, beef, fried shrimp and Thai pork) plus we had to try his sliders! There are vegan and kid options. They also have a mobile unit, so look for Tacos Food Truck at your next festival or event... or request their presence for next time! We will definitely make the hour drive to come visit them again!
We enjoyed our trip to Taco’s Food Truck at That One Place! The food is good for the price. We got the nachos and the street tacos, both items were packed with flavor with a subtle and unique kick of spice! The restaurant offers a variety of glass bottle beverages soda for the kids, water, tea, beer and a couple fruity looking options.
This food truck restaurant combo is high quality food. I’m from San Diego and this place reminded me of the little modern boutique taco shops we have in California The chef selects quality ingredients and knows how to prepare the meat. We ordered the pork, ground beef, and chicken tacos combo. All fresh and hands down a great little gem to eat at in Marion Kansas. Highly recommend.

Such good food and excellent service! Made us feel like regulars, even though it was the first trip. We went at lunch, but seems like it would be a fun evening visit as well. Will absolutely be going back.
We stopped in for a quick lunch and were not disappointed. Nice selection of beers and the food portions were large. We enjoyed a chicken-filled deep fried chimichanga and shrimp tacos.
