I've been through Buellton many times and have heard of Taco Roco but have never experienced it. The food was very good. I got the carnitas platter and it was huge!
The chimichanga plate was good and very filling.
If it wasn't for the owners having a loud vocal argument it would have been better. Good thing I was alone and know Spanish.....it was interesting ????
Excellent little place. Smells fantastic the moment you step inside. Pastor and cabeza were outstanding; carnitas and chorizo were good as well. Taco Tuesday $1.75 per taco is an awesome deal, though if it's not Tuesday, we want to try the pork chili verde Quick, clean, and good food with beers available too, and a very nice courtyard in bar. ADA accessible estrooms for customers.
Weston my best friend really loved the food, he ate everything without utensils or without hesitation. He ate right it right off the plate and finished with 3 bites. He ate the enchiladas ,pancakes, bacon, and eggs. He also ate the food from the ground for extra flavor. I recommend coming here if you bring a dog like Weston he will eat everything!!!
If I could give this place six stars I would! Great, authentic Mexican food. I got the tacquitos, five of them with lettice, cheese and guacamole. Some of the best I ever have had. My wife got a chicken tostada, piled high with chicken and toppings. Indoor and outdoor seating. If you are visiting Solvang, make this a stop.
This is my first time reading at Taco Roco in Buellton. Even though Taco Roco is a local restaurant chain, the food tastes like any good mom and pop restaurant. I had the torta with carnitas. The portion is big and the flavor was really good. I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Buellton and is craving Mexican food.

Well I can't complain about the quality of there product, but what I noticed from yesterday to today the size of the taco shell they use for taco Tuesday... So at $1.50 a taco and at regular price, your not getting a regular price taco, shell is a bit smaller.. so your getting a $1.50 taco, not the one you usually get paying full price...
I went to this location on 6/22/23 at 4:44 pm. I am a costumer that consistently comes to this location. I loved everything about this location until this day. The workers are usually nice however my experience with an employee justified otherwise. My server was Daisy S. and she had a completely nonchalant personality. She did not greet us and didn’t show any satisfaction as we entered the door. She was impatient as my cousins and I were ordering our food. Overall, she did not care about her costumers. My cousins and I ordered our food and we asked her what topping came on the tacos that we were interested in; however, she completely ignored us and went through with the transaction. Once we got home we discovered that the tacos came with a dressing that contained dairy, which is bad because my cousin is lactose. We wanted to make the moment right so we called to get it replaced or remade. Daisy answered the phone and was rude and not understanding our situation. She continuously stated how this was not her fault and the mistake was on our behalf, which is far from the truth. If a costumer doesn’t know or let alone asks what topping come on food, the server should go out of their way to confirm if ALL the toppings are okay. On the phone she was playing the victim and wasn’t even trying to accommodate us. We just wanted our food remade but she was throwing out different types of ways that we can go about this instead of trying to correct the mistake. This had to be by far the worst experience I’ve encountered at a restaurant.
