So I stopped by today to try this place!
So I tried 3 different tacos and the empanadas.
I also tried their margaritas,
Tina made some of the best I have ever had!
The place is very cozy especially with the outdoor seating and large bar!
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and I highly recommend this place.
Service, food and drinks were all great!
All the bartenders are not equal!
Tina is amazing!
If she is there you are in great hands!
If she is not working when I go next time, I may not stay!
The others fill your glass with crushed ice and you don’t get much of a drink.
The food is usually good but some nights it may come out cold in the center.
Be careful parking in this lot! They are tow happy and may tow you if you’re not careful!
I am traumatized by places that do this because they often screw up. So just be aware!
Food was pretty good, margaritas were good & the service was decent. Cleanliness of the place didn’t seem fantastic and a lot of the condiments/utensils weren’t stocked. Other than that, enjoyed our experience.
Fantastic street tacos ($4-$6 per) and delicious margaritas. Orders are taken on a kiosk, so… no human interaction and straight forward. The only interaction we had was through the bar tender, which wasn’t much. Didn’t seem like wanted to be there nor did he seem to care about customers waiting to order. Bottom line - awesome food, unfriendly drinks.
Small, little hip spot in a strip mall across from the Annandale Home Depot. Everything was spectacular. Specialty tacos are to die for. The birria specialty taco was so good, I had to order another one. Shake down shrimp was flavorful, crunchy and battered to perfection (not too thick). Have already recommended to numerous friends and family. Will definitely return to try other options on the menu.
I’m OBSESSED. I have been searching for decent tacos in the dmv since I got back from El Paso. They’re creative, lean, tasty, and delicious. I got carne asada, pollo, shrimp, and barbacoa. The only one I wouldn’t order again was barbacoa, just because it wasn’t as flavorful as the others. The others just knocked it out of the park, specifically the carne asada and shake down shrimp. To die for. 10/10 would recommend, and can’t wait to try the other tacos. EDIT- also I picked up the order, but the interior was super cute and I’d def go there to hang out.
Taco Rock is a cool Tex mex restaurant! They always got good music playing and have a great selection of tequila. I think they got the best Birria in the area and they also do a Birria “crunch wrap supreme” which is just amazing.
Me, my husband and family, love this place. To the point we can come twice a day. Food is delicious, drinks are good. Menu is diverse, music is PHENOMENAL, I could spend a whole day enjoying. Highly recommend!!
Second visit and now a lunch spot favorite on business travel to Alexandria. Love the taco selection and have enjoyed all that I’ve tried. In this visit it was the blackened salmon, carne asada and shake down shrimp. All were delicious. The chips and salsa are very good too!
