Delicious Mexican food. You can tell the tortillas taste authentic, they don't have the mass manufactured taste that packaged tortillas have.
Update: I went another time, this time I got the ultimate beef nacho thing. It was good only thing that wasn't about it was the sour cream. I asked the cashier what's all on it sour cream was never said. If she would've said that it has sour cream I would have asked for it off. Other than that it's good.
So I went into taco mayo today and had a nice service but as I was watching no one had gloves I only seen three people with their hair up. People not in uniforms and there’s kids running behind the counter please note that is a safety hazard
Almost 30.00 for 6 tacos (soft) and 2 bean burritos
You order all this food and then they charge you for each individual 2oz salsa. You should salsa because you order food, now you charge for it.???
This is a rip-off and Taco Mayo used to be the greatest place to go for us. WHAT has happened to them. So we told cashier we will go some place else and we did. Got 6 burgers(all the fixins) onion rings and fries for a fraction of 30.00
If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm livid. 10 bucks for this burrito bowl that loterally looks like it's someone's left overs and they just put more beans with it. When I called the store. The manager Edward was no help whatsoever. Did not offer to make a new one. Asked for a refund and he said he isn't authorized to give them out and the store owner Heath will be there tomorrow. I'll be calling again and I've already called corporate and of course their voice-mail is full lol. This is the 1st and only time I've gotten food from this place. This is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional.

Just a shell of what this place used to be (pun intended). Service is awful, lobby has completely empty what used to be salsa bar (if you aren't going to use it get it out). Ots just so sad, before they greedily over expanded in the 1990's, it looks like an abandoned building that someone is pretending to be the once great taco mayo. As an executive, I can see the potential this chain could have but with a complete lack of effort, leadership, and a corporate board that cares. This place is doomed. It's sad because it used to be so good and so much better than taco bell or taco Bueno. I suggest firing the board and the c-suite and bring back the old format and start to rebuild. You still have a loyal following. Your Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and all those involved in major decision must be fired or at least need to listen to the voice of their customers for this chain to survive. At the least your board and c-suite should not take a salary until they make some real progress.
The food has always been excellent. The people are always great. I highly recommend them. Both of us eat for less than twenty dollars. A true value.
Could have been a little cleaner, but the food was good. None of the self-service salsas were out like other locations.
