The person taking our order acted like he didn't want to be there and just wanted us gone. Everything else was good, and the rest of the employees were great. But he is the first impression.
This place has a strange drive threw but it had the best drink I've ever had at any fast food place. Crisp, clean and refreshing. I loved the potato oleys and they taste just as good as when I was a kid. I would go back for the food and drink.
I want to add that I got my food really fast which was shocking as most fast food places are kind of slow.
I tried their taco pizza and it was pretty good. I ate 7 out of 8 pieces in 4 hours. The price wasn't bad either.
I would rather go to Taco Bell then go back to Taco John's ever ever again I do not recommend this place
I'm only giving them one star because I have too. My grandma, mom and I all went into this Taco John's for a late lunch to celebrate an early Mother's Day. We had the absolute worst experience. First, I walked up to the counter to order my food. I had ordered a cheese quesadilla, large ole, and a large drink. My mom and family then ordered 4 beef tacos and two small ole. We paid, to which the cashier didn't know how to count change, and then stood there and waited for our drink cups. After we had to ask for our drink cups, we sat down and waited for our food. The taco's and ole had arrived to the table but I didn't receive my food. I had went up to the counter after 15 minutes of waiting to ask where my food was and they proceeded to tell me I had received all my food. They then said, "Where is your receipt?". I showed them, the employee then proceeded to slam a tortilla on the grill, throw some cheese in it, and then threw a small ole in the bag. Once the employee slammed the bag down on the counter, I told him I ordered a large ole, he then threw the large ole in the bag and walked away. At this point, I had asked to not receive my food, and asked for a refund to which, they ignored, said I could have my food to go and walked away. Once I got my food, because they practically shoved it in my face, I had taken two bites of my cheese quesadilla to realize it wasn't even cooked all the way. This was the worst customer service I have ever received, not to mention their cleanliness was subpar. I will not be going back to a Taco John's for a very long time.
My order is always wrong in one way or another. I ordered a steak burrito today and got a chicken one and was never given my drink (I went through drive thru). The guy that gave me my food literally had his back to me when handing me my food and was just having a conversation with another worker.
I asked for a super potato Ole without guacamole and add sour cream. I'm really disappointed, the potato Ole was cold, and tasted stale, very little cheese and NO sour cream!! No napkins....I will not be back
Food order brought out by the person that took my order. Was missing my main item from my combo. When I told them I was missing it, they remade it but made it with chicken, not steak, as I ordered it. While waiting for it to be remade, I played with the bugs in the window sill. Nobody has cleaned them in a while clearly. After it was brought out, I unrolled it to find 4 peices of meat in the entire thing.
A few days before, I sent in an order for delivery to my work. Two items were ordered with guacamole on both. When it arrived, both items did not have guacamole. Called the store and was told that I had to get ahold of the delivery service to arrange the complaint. Considering I can't go to this store and have my order prepared properly, I don't think it should be my responsibility nor the delivery services to make it right.
