My wife and I came to Crookston to have taco john's breakfast. It was 10:30 and I asked can I get breakfast still? So he told me I can ask the cook. And she said no. So I left. Honestly that cook needs better customer service skills and when a customer asks for breakfast you make it. I don't care about excuses. So unless they push back their breakfast hours to 11am I won't be back.
There only good for their breakfast, which ends at 10:30 EVERYDAY.
I love there sausage and bacon potato burrito during breakfast! It taste so good with there orignal mild and hot and mild sauce packets.
I'm giving a 3 star for service which should be a 2, because the only good service is during morning, I wouldnt recommend coming here during night time. The night crew are incredibly disrespectful and the service time is forever.
The atmosphere during night is not so great, but the morning is great.
Although morning crew, when I ask for things dont give me what I want. I ask for orignal mild and they end up not goving me any!? On multiple occasions.
Once again Taco John's disappoints me again. I asked for a Raspberry Wave. My bad I was supposed to say Wildberry Wave, but the lady corrected herself and said Lemonade Wildberry Wave. She asked if I wanted a Strawberry Lemonade. I said no. I went to the window saw my drink it was Strawberry I was willing to give ny drink back to them which I had not touched for a Wildberry, but they said I asked for a Strawberry and handed it to me anyways. It wasnt mixed and there was barely. BARELY any syrup. It tasted like water instead of lemonade as I gave up even asking for a wildberry. If im not mistaken its supposed to be one full pump of strawberry syrup with lemonade. I GOT WATER AND HALF A PUMP. Disgusting. I didn't want to go back since I didnt want to be perceived as a "Karen." SO here I am changing my review to a 2 star. Be the way she didn't repeat back the order nor did she sah rhe total at the window, and she seemed to want to argue with us when we said we actually wanted a wildberry.
I got two hard shell tacos had like no meat on it I couldn't taste it. Also got some potato lays that were over salted, it was gross. I will never be going to the Crookston one again.
I would ljke to say before i made this review i messaged corporate about the dissatisfied visit, then i recieved a call from them saying they would send coupons to make up for the visit. So I agreed and said I would give them a try again. However I never recieved the coupons. The reason I dod not like the visit was because I ordered 2 softshells, oles, and a drink. The service was rude and the employee was covered in hickies. When I recieved my order there wasn't any meat on my tacos, a complete mess!!! The cheese I ordered with my meal was wattery and seperated!! I will definitely not be back!!!! I do not reccomend this restaurant!!!!
They give you a real "mcdonalds" experience. Constantly dont either mark down what you ordered or they just dont put it in the bag when going through drive through. At least 70% of the time my order is wrong. Constantly have to doubel back to get my order fixed or check the order right in front of them.
The workers are always friendly and my food is always tasty ???? what else could I ask for?
I might as well just order a taco with no meat on it because that is what I got and the olays was swimming in salt.
I happened to catch the owner when I was there, and she was lovely to chat with. Great food, and service.
