Always stop here before hitting the train. And it never fails me. If you want some real good tasting food, stop here next time your in town. It is underground going to the Metra and South shore line. I got the Steak breakfast n it was great.
So tasty! We wanted something away from tourists and it was such a good affordable spot. The veggie burrito was huge and delicious. It didn't last long! Tamales were good and things were made to order.
This restaurant is downstairs where you get off of the South Shore train by Millennium Park. They have a gyro sandwich that is to die for. It's freshly made and absolutely delicious. The friend with me had a New York hot dog with all the fixings and he raved about it. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and fun. The place is clean. And it's one of the rare finds in Chicago where you can get good food at a reasonable price. I highly recommend it.
Decent food, but the so-called 'manager' was shockingly rude. Talking on the phone while I ordered, laughing throughout. Disappointing. Considering reaching out to higher-ups with my concerns.
Awesome food, awesome place. The owner is awesome too. As there was huge rush when we were at the restaurant, she came out personally to greet and took care of the order, advised what would be good for us.. the overall experience was A plus..
Food price doesn't relate to the less than great quality, but that's what you get when you eat at a well known chain. I have to admit my first time trying Taco Fresco after hearing about it as if it was some magical Mexican restaurant on the west coast that everyone adored...I was disappointed. Average food, service is what you expect (you order it, they cook it). Like most train station restaurants the space is too small for anyone to actually eat there which makes sense since its a business area and most people grab the food and snack while they're working.
They put their cutest on the front line as one reviewer has already said :-)
These guys are pretty good. Good food and good service. Give them some time. Located in the did court at the train station, they're the only ones busy. Be patient and enjoy.
This is one of my favorite places to stop when I'm traveling to/from Chicago. It's right in Millennium Station which is really convenient. Their food is great and the service is even better. I love that they are on the Ritual app.
