The petite restaurant sits right on Congress St in Portland near the Art College. The food was amazing. Hot and tasty and came quickly. Enclosed are the photos of the fish tacos and street corn. The server was very helpful and with pleasant
demeanor. There are bench and table top seating. A nice little bar with a couple of TVs. Great selection of margaritas. The atmosphere was enjoyable, and the music was a tad metallic.
There is on street parking and some lot parking all which are pay by plate on many of the side streets.
Crisp fish tacos were the best that I've ever had. Just the right portion. Prices were lower than expected. When we got there they said there was a 25 minute wait but we got a text 5 minutes later telling us our table was ready. Food was out less than 10 minutes after ordering.
We went back after the show at 1230am and had churros, which were delicious!
I highly recommend Taco Escobarr and wish they were located in Northern Maine.
Everything we ordered was amazing. Also tried the raspberry coconut margarita and the Paloma. They make a good strong drink!
Great food and atmosphere! I loved the puffy tacos. I ordered the fried avocado and roasted cauliflower (a special that day)— the flavors were divine. The salsa and chips were also really tasty!
Absolutely loved my dinner experience at Taco Escobarr! The food was incredibly delicious, especially the Steak Fajitas which were packed with flavor. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing evening, and the friendly staff ensured we had a fantastic time. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal and wonderful ambiance!
We went on a busy Saturday afternoon and we're able to put our name in for a table and continue shopping while we waited for a text. Food was great! Crispy homemade taco shells were so good. Vegetarian burrito was very flavorful too. Next time I'll have a margarita with the house flavor infused tequila.
Puffy Tacos are my new favorite. Had the al pastor and the shrimp. Both were flavorful and wonderful. Mexican corn was also a winner! Tons of flavor and coated generously. Will return to try the other items as well as their infused margaritas. Met the Executive Chef(Rudolpho) while he was waiting for his take-out( an excellent sign of great food).
Atmosphere and service were top notch, waitstaff came to visit and ask questions at the right time. All food was good, order chips and quest, Mexican corn, and 6 tacos. Crispy tacos are the way to go, shrimp is excellent
