We were hungry ???? so.. ok we're on our last leg of our trip.. heading home..so yes I'll roll the dice and try Taco El Grulllens for the first time..got the super burrito and at the wet sauce for a wet burrito.. chicken the wife had shredded pork I was pleasing and surprised that it really tasted good the country fresh wall and spirit and sweet days chickens were marinated with just right the sauce for the burrito was just awesome I will definitely stop here again I'll become fan..
I recommend everyone to visit this place! Always very tasty! When I am in these parts, I do not miss the opportunity to eat here! The best chefs in California work here, I know what I'm talking about because I travel a lot. Will definitely come back again!
Driving up north on 99 decided to stop for a quick bite. Long drive was ahead, so looking for something quick to eat was the mission. Took a right on exit 170 and Taco El Grullence was there. The area seems like it's in the middle of nowhere, and I felt like in the movie No Country for Old Man and was waiting for Danny Trejo to walk in the door. The place was clean, service was friendly and my tacos were ready in couple of minutes and tasted great.
Good service and really good food. My fave is rice, beans, and chili Verde.
Early evening drive-thru. Aboada was slightly dry but wasn't too bad. Average rice, beans, tomatoes and lettuce. However, the salsa Verde seemed to have sat there so long that I was able to open the container, turn it upside down and nothing came out. Not because it was empty, but it has dried to the point it stuck to the container, even return upside down. Tourist prices (high for the typical Mexican food) but it is open 24/7.
Tacos el Grullense is by far one of the best taco places. The supreme carne asada burrito is full of flavor and a must have. Their aguas frescas are authentic and remind me of home. Anytime I come from Los Angeles to Chowchilla, it's a must that I visit Tacos El Grullense. Prices are affordable, food is great. I've tried several Taco places in LA and this spot is at the top my list.
Love this place. Food is great, service is great and you can’t beat the price.
A little expensive. Tacos are now $1.75, .50 extra for Tripas. Great taste and food, worth it and worth finding their sister companies in other towns. Burritos were super moist and rice was on point. Wish there was more in the small rice and bean containers since those are 2.50 each, but still great food.
