I visited Taco Burrito King late night and was pleasantly impressed. The regular-sized burrito I ordered was larger than most, packed with fresh and flavorful ingredients that made every bite a delight. Alongside, I indulged in their Tostados, which were not only delicious but also incredibly filling, thanks to the abundance of fresh ingredients.
I remember going here no matter if it was after a night of drinking, or a sober afternoon. It was always good! Now, different story. Doesn't have the same taste and the steak is fatty as hell. Say I take 10 bites, 8 or them is fatty. What the hell happened to this place?
Ridiculous! Chicken fajitas? Never again! Dry meat probably from yesterday? I love taco burrito king. But this location lost me! Zero stars! Very expensive for this junk food! And by the way chicken burrito was same as fajita. Dry.
They falsely advertise buy one get one free deals by doubling the price of the item and telling you you're getting one free when you're outright paying for 2 items. One taco is 3.75 in store and 4.15 through uber but the "BOGO" cost $6.50. One quessadilla on uber costs $7.25 but the "BOGO" is $11.75. That's not buying 1 item and getting another free. That is a blatant lie. I really appreciate the man last night who honored what I thought I ordered based on the price. But this needs to be changed immediately because you're outright lying.
We did both Dine-in and Delivery. We had Taco Burrito King three times in a week during our trip to Chicago. This was the best Mexican food we've ever had! If you get the super nachos, get the chips on the side.
This place is amazing. I have been going here for the better part of my 34 years of existence. You can get the horchata which is a type of rice milk with cinnamon. They have amazing burritos and quesadillas. I will continue to go here as long as it's around. There are many throughout Chicago.
Perfect place to go late at night! Very well priced and lots of choices. I got a jr burrito and it was still huge! I need to get at that king burrito sometime though when I have a bigger appetite. The place was super clean as well, which isn't usually the case usually for late night restaurants from my experiences. I'll for sure be coming back when I'm in the area again.
I got 2 burritos, a taco and a sope. The food was delicious. The service was fast and polite. I'll be coming back!
