You will not believe how terrible this Taco Bell is. They have the smallest portions I have ever experienced, and it gets consistently worse every time I go back. Drive through did not move for 11 minutes.
I spent $17 on four burritos and a Crunchwrap. I received two burritos and a Crunchwrap. The burritos have almost nothing inside, as you can see from the pictures. Three small pieces of chicken, a TINY smear of beans, a tablespoon of lettuce, and a handful of tortilla strips. I’ve reached out to Taco Bell support and all they do is send me coupons for more, terrible Taco Bell. This restaurant is in the dump compared to three years ago. Save yourself the trouble and go to the Appleway location.
I was in shock when I pull up to the window to get my food ,and was met with it being shoved into my hands and the window being slammed in my face, by a younger ginger female with absolute talons on her fingernails after I simply was trying to get some Taco Bell. Both of my tacos contained tomatoes ,which I had asked for none of, and my nacho fry was literally less than half full. I checked my bag after pulling out of the drive-thru because of the way I'd just been treated to see if I had actually gotten what I'd paid for, and my jaw genuinely dropped when I saw the condition of my order. Mind you, when I ordered the line was completely empty and so was the parking lot, and my tacos were barely wrapped and just made horribly. I turned around to go back because I was obviously upset and when I went back in the older woman up front was very sweet and asked the girl to remake my order, when she handed me my newly made order she slammed it down and continued with the attitude. I hope this store is doing okay and finds better employees.
I will no longer support this store. This is the 3rd time I have ordered food and been ignored and charged for a modification that they don't do. I said no onions and it's like they threw double in my two burritos. I said to make it Supreme and they charged it up instead of supreming it then I had 4 pieces of tomato in two burritos total. Which is only $1.20 but seriously, you charged me for it but didn't deliver. At least Appleway is professional and I have almost never had my food messed up there!!!
Got my order wrong 3 times that I just gave up. I asked for a chicken enchilada burrito combo. The first time they gave me a lousy quesadilla. The second time they gave me that AGAIN. The third time, they gave me a random burrito and 7 tacos. The contents I should've received was a chicken enchilada burrito, a challupa, a taco, and some chips like advertised.
EDIT: I was in a rush when I wrote this, but another thing was the guy at the window tried keeping my card. He gave us our *wrong* order and said have a good day then turned around. Almost drove off before I had to remind him for my card. He seemed off and reluctantly handed it back.
This taco bell feels slow and understaffed. They prioritize drive thru orders WAY too much as people eating inside as well as Delivery Drivers have to wait from 15 minutes to an hour in some cases - and I've seen many delivery drivers walk out frustrated that they waited so long. The good news is, they seem to be hiring more staff and on some days, the wait times are minimal.
CDA Taco Bell on Hanley is an older store. The staff are courteous. They get the orders correct and do it within a decent amount of time. The food is top notch Taco Bell fare. Finally stopped in for the beloved Mexican Pizza which was great although, despite what Taco Bell Corporate says, the ingredients have clearly changed ever so slightly. It was still yummy and I'm looking forward to my next one!
Ordered from here tonight and NONE of our food was correct. No sauce on the chicken quesadillas? Like any of them?? No BEEF on the soft taco? Please next time consider hiring someone who knows how to do their job correctly. I get being new maybe but like come on!
Obviously, it's a fast food restaurant --not fine dining. And our experience could completely be dependent on the shift, so keep that in mind. But we placed our order and it took a while to get our food. Not a big deal if they were busy, but we were the only people in the restaurant and there were quite a few workers sitting at the tables just chatting. There was music blasting over the speakers with several four letter words. We asked them to change it which they did. They then brought us our food and my husband's order was wrong, they forgot the freeze he ordered and my 2 items were both cold and pretty much devoid of any filling other than shredded cheese and lettuce. Over all, it's a fast food restaurant so we weren't mad, but were surprised enough by the the multiple problems that we won't be trying this location again anytime soon.
