We were passing through Belgium and of course we wanted to stop for some fries. I went to place my order in English, but the lady in the cashier said she only spoke Fremch. I asked if it was possible to speak en Espanol oder Deutch instead, but she only said «Francois, Francois». We left. Won’t come back.
We still have to receive our food. We have been waiting for 20 minutes and the row for ordering has doubled. Meanwhile three people are actively having a conversation about hair colours instead of baking fries, a seemingly straightforward action. When waiting, I can recommend the bouncy castle. Even for 20+ age it is fun.
We received our food. The fries are good. We also had le Grèc. Which makes you think of a Greek god. It is very tasty after you removed half a chicken and half a liter of tzatziki. Unfortunately the pita was old as well. And I know that you are way more forthcoming than the Dutch (trust me I know) but we could feed the whole village with the petite fries.
Furthermore, the place looks nice and seems very clean when you close your eyes! The tissue dispenser works perfectly! Overall, we will definitely come back and try one of the desserts maison, but we want to get home tonight!
Good place for a quick lunch. Portions are big. Even a small frites is BIG and priced well. Service very kind. Everything is clean. Note you can only pay with a Belgian bank card or cash
The taste of the food was not good.. the fish burger patty was not cooked properly.. it seems the patty was taken out from cold storage and was put into oil and removed early due to which it was not tasting good at all.. seems more like tourists place
