Lovely place to have fun! I would recommend if you are into camping. Beware it is like real camping and cold. But really fun, great people!

Arrived on site and was greeted with a beer, and then we were escorted to our tents.
The tents smelled so bad that I had to spray deodorant in to lift the smell. The sleeping bag was paper thin along with the roll mat. Was freezing during the night and realised I was sleeping on a rock.
Security was on a power trip, especially the oldish woman.
The toilets and showers block was hazardous, and even some of the security said to stay away it was that bad.
The plus side to this site is the unlimited beer. The spinning wheel game was knackered and only landed on number 2, which was to drink from your boot. You'd think all this money poured into this you'd have a decent wheel that worked.
My advice - get a hotel near the beer festival itself and experience it and you'll have more fun and safer experience.
Oktoberfest itself in Munich was an absolutely fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend getting yourself into the halls as the atmosphere was incredible.
So fun!! Definitely come if you want to have fun and meet new people - COLLEGE AGE!
