Modern, clean, no fumes! ! ! Excellent pedicure and massage chairs and safe from fungus because they change out disposable liners each and every time. It's the only place I'll dip my toe.
I‘ve been to this establishment a handful of times. Today, yet again, after making an appointment, I was unable to be seen at my appointment time. This is the second time this has happened. This spa will no longer get my business! It’s frustrating when you make an appointment and then you sit and wait there without even giving a heads up that they’re running behind. How long is someone expected to wait when they’ve make an appointment?
Little frustrated with the customer service here. I specifically requested a certain tech for an appointment I made 1 week ahead of time. I get there for first morning appointment and someone is sitting in my nail tech's chair. She bumped me to a random technician so she could help this woman instead. While I was there, a woman came in for a waxing appointment she made with a certain person. She gets there, and that person is not even there. She complained this has happened multiple times. Obviously this salon doesn't care about appointments, so don't be surprised if you have to wait an hour or don't get the person you made an appointment with.
This is my first time here. Sonny did my pedicure. This has been a wonderful experience. One of the best I've had. He is gentle, articulate and friendly.I will absolutely be back!
Very clean and professional, have been trying to find a great place in the to varies Mount Dora area and this is the place to go. We’re very gentle and did not make my toe her after going through and getting my ingrown toenail out. Massage you for a long time and overall great service and a very relaxing experience. The owner was super nice greeted us, gave us water, and helped us find a color that we would like. We will definitely be coming back!
Came in as a walk-in, needed a new look and a fix because I tried to remove the previous job on my own. Sonny was quick and professional. Meticulous. I will be coming back when I grow these out (no more at home jobs)
Salon itself was very clean, well lit, and had a great relaxing vibe!
I love Sonny and Denise, they have a very clean calm nail salon. I was there the day they opened and have been going to Star Nails since. Susan is very good, acrylic, dip and gel. Jenni is so sweet and does a very good pedicure. You won't be disappointed. If you are looking for a professional and clean salon you should try it!
I love Star Nails. Always top notch!! Extremely clean. Always friendly and have great staff that doesn’t hardly ever change- which says a lot about a business in itself. I’ve been going to Sonny and Denise for many years and by far always meet my expectations. Also- they are never rushing so no matter what service I get they always do a great job!!! Atmosphere is relaxing and decorated so nicely. Oh and can’t forget they have great pedi chairs!
