My wife and I took our 8 month old son here because his hair was growing over his eyes and ears. The staff was extremely friendly and got us in within 20 minutes of coming there without an appointment. Faustina was our stylist and she was amazing. She was very patient with our little one and got him to smile multiple times throughout the visit. They offered us a really cool first haircut appointment package which included a photo, a really neat certificate and a bag of his baby hair which was a nice touch. Faustina really took the time to make sure our baby was comfortable and happy, and even hand filled out the certificate herself. When he is ready for his next trim, we will definitely be coming back!
I took both of my boys for haircut and the lady who did it totally ruined their hair. She rushed and the cut was very bad. Now I have to correct this mess myself and the only reason I took them to the salon was so they can look nice for upcoming wedding we have. I am very disappointed, especially as we had a great experience before..
We have been taking our daughter to Sharkeys for years since we found the one in Tustin. We were so thrilled to find out they were opening the one in Irvine since we live in Irvine! And even more excited that her stylist was here at this one too! Heather is absolutely amazing and this place rocks! If you want a fun place to take your kids that has lots to do for the kids even if you are waiting then this is the place for you!
My 4 years old is on the spectrum and the people at Sharkey is very welcoming and helpful. My son had a very bad experience when it comes to getting his haircut. We been practicing on making him comfortable by just standing by the door, touching the door, until eventually he got comfortable going inside and sit in one of the car. I did make sure it’s not crowded when we come visit and asked when they are not busy to come inside for my son to practice.
The ladies are very nice and gave my son all the encouragement to make him feel comfortable.
Sohiela cut my daughters hair, the haircut was ok, we went in for about 3” to be cut off and left about 8” shorter…but the service was atrocious! They made no effort to talk to us at all, only talking back and forth about how bad the company was to the receptionist. My daughter didn’t want a braid in her hair so she didn’t even dry or style it. I remember coming here a couple years ago and having nails, style and cut done. Now it’s just horrible. Just a chop and drop shop. We won’t be coming back. Save your money! ????
Such a fun and friendly salon!!! My daughter and I both got haircuts and loved it. The car chairs are so cool, and everyone so good and friendly! Afterwards we played on the playground and had the best time :)

Nuria was Amezing. My 5 year old never had a haircut because he was scared. Every time I got the scissors or the machine he started screaming. But Nuria did it with no problem, No Crying and with style ????????????????????
