Quick Facts About Sehia's African Hair Braiding

Sehia's African Hair Braiding place has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, one common theme is the quality of the braiding services. Customers praise the amazing job done on their hair and express satisfaction with the results. This indicates that the braiders at Sehia's are skilled and capable of delivering excellent results. Additionally, the positive feedback from loyal customers who have been going to the shop for over 20 years highlights the trust and reputation the business has built over time. This is a testament to the consistency and reliability of the services provided.
Another strength mentioned is the efficiency of the braiding process. Customers appreciate the quick service and short waiting times. Several comments mention being "in and out" of the shop, indicating a speedy and efficient experience. This is an important factor for customers who value their time and want to minimize the duration of the braiding process.
Now, turning to the weaknesses, the most prominent issue highlighted in the comments is unprofessionalism. Several customers report instances where appointments were not honored or where the braider they had scheduled was unavailable. This lack of organization and communication is deemed highly unprofessional and can lead to inconvenience and frustration for customers. In one specific case, a customer had to go find another salon for her hair because of the last-minute cancellation. This kind of experience can damage the business's reputation and result in lost customers.
Furthermore, customer service is mentioned as a weakness in some comments. The owner is described as rude and uncommunicative, talking to customers with her back turned and displaying a lack of empathy. This type of behavior can create an unwelcoming atmosphere and deter potential customers from returning. The comment about being made to wait three hours only to be refused service and subsequently scolded by the owner highlights the poor customer service experience some individuals may have encountered.
Lastly, while not explicitly mentioned in the comments, it is worth noting that Sehia's African Hair Braiding does not seem to have an online presence or reviews beyond the comments provided. In today's digital age, having an online presence is crucial for businesses to attract new customers and build credibility. Without online visibility, the business may be missing out on potential customers who rely on online reviews and information.
In conclusion, Sehia's African Hair Braiding has strengths in terms of delivering quality braiding services and providing fast and efficient experiences for customers. However, weaknesses such as unprofessionalism, poor customer service, and a lack of online presence are areas for improvement that could enhance the overall customer experience and reputation of the business.

Best KBFKR Reviews

These ladies did an amazing job on my hair 10/10 coming back again
Assita the owner is awesome, I’ve been going to her shop for over 20 years! She has always been kind!!! Check out her shop!
The only place I go to when I get my hair braided
I love my hair. Tina did a really good job on my feedin braids and knotless braids. I was in and out the shop. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Made an appointment two days out . & the day before appointment I called to verify . The day of the appointment I get there 15 mins early . For the owner to say “ I don’t know where she is, I’ve been calling her all morning,” so I said “is there someone else who can braid” her response was “ um no I don’t know where she is I’ll keep calling”
At the end I pretty much had to go find another braiding salon because I had an event to go to the following day.
Very very unprofessional
Queens beware if you read some of these reviews you can tell that they are not lies. How do you have two different people stating that they are cant over here they are not doing the styles correctly long wait times. A lot of these salons are losing their professionalism they act as if they are doing you a favor and you're the one that's paying your hard-earned money
NEVER AGAIN SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, I had an appointment at 8AM. Something told me to book somewhere else as a plan B. Please keep in mind I've been coming here since I was High School and the service has declined sufficiently. Thank the Heavens that I did have a plan B because I got there and no one was available to do my hair. The owner tells me to go down the block to her"other location". I waited 30 minutes and left. UNPROFESSIONAL IS NOT THE WORD.
The owner is very rude. She talks to you with her back turned towards you and expects you to understand her. She had me wait 3 hours for her to say that she wouldn't do my hair and fussed at me for coming 3 hours after. Yes, the shop is convenient but not convenient enough to give my money to her rudeness.
