Amazing food! Best Indian food I ever ate! I strongly recommend!
Had nice dinner at Salt 'n Pepper. Very good price-quality balance. Definitely best authentic Indian restaurant in Gent we ever visited.
During wintertime, do not choose a table near the door.
The quality of the food served by Salt 'n Pepper is of the highest degree, and the staff keep improving the offering continuously. As an avid Gent-goer, I try to squeeze in one or two meals at the finest Indian restaurant in northwestern Belgium during each visit. The recent positive surprises were the mushroom bhaji and hot ginger tea.
This restaurant downgraded from a busy dining experience to a take away with a few tables. Photo is of previous location. Moved at least one year ago. Remove from your list of Indian restaurants. No starters available. Disappointing bland flavors. Only warrants a one star now.
they have a new cook, some small revisions to the menu, but still have the same great food. The Murgh Shajahani (sic) is my fav chicken dish, the lamb dishes are all nice and this is the place that showed me that Indian includes fish. Whoda thunk it?
Bad Indian food. Tried biryani and they simply mixed boiled chicken to some ghee rice. No flavors, no spices and I would call it a boiled chicken-rice mix than biryani..
There aren't that many Indian restaurants in Gent, but of them all this is most definitely my favourite. Its food is by far the most authentic of any Indian restaurant in Gent.
Tourist trap and not authtic at all . First of its not Indian food at all In fact it’s more Pakistani food and even my Pakistani colleague told me not to try food there but I ignored his warning and end up having a bad meal . Not recommended at all because there are better options in gent for Indian food ????
