My two year old and 5 year old has gotten their hair cut here the majority of their lives! They absolutely love Nick!!!! Nick is amazing with my babies. My 5 year old very first haircut was at a different salon and was a very scary experience for him because the person cut him several times. From there on, he was petrified! We gave Nick and his staff a try and Nick slowly got my sweet boy very comfortable with him cutting his hair. We drive all the way from Burke County for their haircuts because they're the BEST!!!!

Went into this establishment today and try to get a cut and shave but I guess people of color are not welcome in there that's how they made me feel and how they looked at me when I came in the door thank you and have a wonderful blessed day
I was thoroughly looking forward to getting my haircut at Russell's at their stated opening hours of Tuesday through Friday at 7 a.m.. My colleagues had rave reviews about Russell's and I was excited to see it first hand. On Tuesday morning November 28th of 2017 I sat in there parking lot until 7:36 in the morning. No one came to open the shop no sign was posted on the door no information was available on the website and the phone number listed for Russell's says that the customer I've contacted can't be reached. I'd love to review this is anything but one star given other people's opinions but I rely on businesses to open when they say they're going to open or the minimum to have posted some information for the customer.
Nick is the best in the business. Won't go anywhere else for a haircut.

I was looking for a place that was friendly and good at what they do, cutting hair. I found that in Russell's on the Corner. Great place, great service and even better people. I will be going back for my next cut.
I’m a first time mom and I took my under one year old baby here for his first hair cut. He got a mullet. Mr. Russell was excellent with my son. Although my son drooled all over his chair, his staff put on Bluey for him and my son enjoyed his haircut. See you in 4-6 weeks, Mr. Russell and staff! His hair cut looks great and we will be back.
Russell's is the only barbershop I will visit in Augusta, GA (I've rarely needed a haircut while out of town) and I have been a customer for years! I ALWAYS get Nick (owner) to work his magic and I'm always happy with the results! High recommend
