Where to begin.. when I first arrived they
Seated me right away, which I was impressed by that. Then I asked how much do they charge for a full set? The gentleman in the glasses stated $50 and up, so I left it at that. Once we got down to how long I wanted my nails, I let him know that I don’t like my nails too long because I type at work (so a medium). The gentleman said if I want a medium size which is fairly even anything that that was going to be $60 I asked him to show me what $50 looks like and that’s the picture that I have posted. Barely even a nail to even scratch anything. Why would I pay $50 for something that’s the size of my natural nail or why even get acrylic nails. Their prices are ridiculous due to the fact that they’re going off the length of the nail. Which I have got my nails from all sides of town and never have I ever heard about this before or been treated this way. I do understand if my nail is longer, but the type of nail length that I want it was not long at all. They are over pricing their customers and very rude about it. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I was recommended by a friend and when I told her what happened she told me that the same gentleman was having issues with another customer about her nails as well so this is a problem that continues going on. Stay away From this place.. The picture with my nails done. I went somewhere else where I was treated with respect.
Superb service. From the husband and wife duo to Peter the Maître D. Got dazzled from the beginning from a formal greeting to immediately being served upon and assisted in service by each one of us having our own attendant. Great place to host a birthday party they outdid themselves.
My services were done with Henry. Despite me being the last one in the salon, he took his time doing my nails and did not rush. He does an amazing job with any type of color or design. I‘ve done my nails twice with Henry and each time, he has never disappointed. I highly recommend him!
Second time going to this nail salon, the first time the mail tech was a little rough and said she wasn’t able to give me the shape I wanted because it wouldn’t look good on shorter nails, even tho the other salons I go to will give me what I ask. I attempted to give this salon a second chance and left disappointed. The salon is clean, and pretty. the owner is nice, so it seems it was more of the tech not caring about her work/what her client wants. She rushed my service, didn’t clean up the sides of my nails either so I’ll post a pic of the finished product. Honestly looks like a child painted my nails.
6/17 It was my first time coming to this salon and it was recommended by a friend. The location is very clean and everyone was very friendly. I’m removing two stars because during my pedicure the person helping me was insistent on getting what I can only assume she thought was a hang nail or cuticle off the side of my left toe nail. She pulled the skin from the top all the way to the bottom of my toe nail and ripped it off then went back with the clippers. It hurt so bad as she pulled and I bled a bit throughout the service but I thought I’d be okay. I was wrong… later that night my toe was still leaking and bleeding. Today (6/18) my toe is swollen, red, bleeding, and it hurts to walk. Now I haven’t had that many pedis in my life but I’m sure this isn’t normal. The rest of my toes are okay… I just don’t know what went wrong here. So long as I don’t get an infection I’d give them another shot just maybe with a different technician. Excuse the gross pics I just thought evidence may be needed.
I love going to Rio Nails & Bar for all my nail needs! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming and they do an amazing job with any manicure or pedicure I request. They always make sure to use the best products and their prices are very reasonable.
Ken did so good on my set. His service was amazing, staff was friendly and the hospitality was everything!!! The nails are exactly what I wanted!! Definitely gonna come back. Ask for him.
Henry did an amazing job ! I didn’t feel rushed or just another customer to him. He worked with me on removing my nails to get a new set. He took his time on me and made me feel like a valued person. He even tested several colors on me before deciding on one that worked with me. I’ll definitely be coming back to him.
