This place was amazing! The food was fantastic. The gentleman that served us was professional and courteous. My husband's and my dna heritage results said we are both partly Balkan. This restaurant made us more excited to learn about our heritage. I'm definitely going to try and find Croatian recipes online! Thanks for a wonderful experience.
Very good food (although we waited over an hour for it!) but the elderly owner/waiter was not at all friendly, actually rude. He also made it clear he wasnt impressed that we weren't ordering alcohol (not that it was any of his business why we weren't drinking) which made us feel uncomfortable and in general the bad service made the evening much less enjoyable.
the service is just terrible! The elderly waiter (I think it's the owner) is very rude. We were looking for a place to eat goulash and this cafe was the closest. Imagine our surprise when he told us that 2 soups and 2 beers is too little to order from their restaurant and they won't serve us. At the same time, there were no visitors at all in the restaurant and we were alone. I do not advise anyone. Hope they close soon
Is the best Balkan restaurant in the heart of Antwerp, the food was just amazing and i would suggest anyone who has a good taste to give it a try. Food portions were big and high quality.
If you are Balkan , you definitely have to go there, its totally worth it.
Server was really not nice. If you don't order food you can not order drink. For one Croatian place was really shame experience. Never again that place really need be closed with like that acting. On end we didn't eat or drink we just go out of restaurant. Just big big shame. Really not recommending I think everyone deserves nice drink with family with out feel shame on end. My advice avoid this restoran.
One star is too much. Food had nothing to do with Balkan food. Greasy, not fresh. The person serving mentioned they don’t do chicken soup cause it expires quickly?! Service is non existent. The server was eating behind the bar and was difficult to get his attention. Never checked back on us. Was rude and abrupt when we mentioned not being satisfied with food. Interior is old. The restaurant was cold and unwelcoming. Would never go back.
Very bad experience, the waiter was very unfriendly and the food is really expecive. I wouldn't visit this place ever again what a waist of money. PS. Mostar is in Bosnia not Croatia and most of the meals originate from Bosnia like Cevapi.
Stay away. Very bad food and rude owner who doesn't even try to help customers.
