We come dine at Marco's La Vecchia Napoli 16years already. When we lived in Leuven it was frequent, now it's for special occasions as we moved further away.
You don't have to travel to Italy to find high quality pizza. You just have to find the right Italian :) where you recite.

We went for 5 people and ordered 5 different pizza (Capricciossa, Mafia,
Carnivora, Parma, Vegitariana),all of which were great. The spicy olive oil that they served along with the pizza was so good.
We went for a litre of house wine along with pizza, but unfortunately it wasn't great, and too pricey for that kind of wine.
So the place is definitely recommended for the delicious pizza, but not the wine.
Disappointing Experience: Rude Owner, Unpleasant Service, Way too long waiting time, and Overpriced Menu
My recent visit left me utterly disappointed and dissatisfied. The overall experience was marred by a rude owner and waitstaff, exorbitant prices, and a mediocre pizza.
Firstly, the behavior of the owner and waiters was completely unacceptable. Their attitude was consistently rude and disrespectful throughout my entire visit. It's disheartening to encounter such unprofessionalism in a supposedly reputable establishment. Their lack of basic courtesy and attentiveness towards customers made the dining experience unpleasant and uncomfortable.
Adding to my disappointment was the exorbitant pricing. The menu prices were significantly higher compared to other pizzerias in the area, without any justification. It felt like they were trying to take advantage of customers without offering any exceptional quality or service. It's disappointing to pay a premium price for an average pizza that failed to live up to its hype.
Speaking of the food, the pizza was nothing more than average. The taste was ordinary, lacking any unique or memorable flavors. The crust was neither crispy nor fluffy, and the toppings were sparse, further contributing to the lackluster experience. Given the inflated prices, I expected much better quality and taste.
Overall, I cannot recommend to anyone based on my negative experience. The rude owner and waiters, coupled with the exorbitant prices and average pizza, make it a poor choice for dining. Save your time and money by exploring other options in the area that offer better value, friendlier service, and more delicious food.
Awful service. There was no available table and we ordered 4 pizzas to take away. We were waiting our order for 50 minutes. While waiting one table became available, but the waitress refused to serve us, because we have already ordered to take away. We asked if we can order something of pay additionally to dine in, but they refused.
Pizza was ok, just regular one, nothing special.
I would prefer another place next time.
The feature of this place is a rude and abusive service. The waiters were rude, the service was terrible, and the wait time was excessively long. Unfortunately, even the pizza itself was average at best.
We waited for a free table for our group, but the waiter gave it to another party. After that, they suggested we place a take-away order instead, and even after we placed the order, we had to wait for an hour. I was hoping for a memorable dining experience, but instead, I left feeling disappointed.
Never again. There’re many better places in this city.
Pizza was delicious, made with tasty and fresh products. I liked so much the thin crispy top. The owner is a nice and friendly guy from Napoli. You should try his pizza, when visiting Leuven.

We had veggie pizza. The pizza crust was perfect. The veggie stuffing including artijok, olives, zucchini etc was awesome.
Nice little pizza place. We could see our pizza being made right from our table. Friendly waitress that brought us English menus, and she could speak multiple languages. Small thin crust pizza is more than enough for one person.
