Food was very good. The roasted chicken was a little dry but the other items were very well done. Loved the espresso creme brulee.
Had a wonderful dinner with my daughter here tonight. All 3 courses we had were outstanding. Thanks again to the chef who made some delicious changes, at my request, to my main course as I have some special dietary requirements. Service was excellent. I can highly recommend this restaurant.
Great atmosphere and staff, the new head chef and dinner menu are to die for. Possibly the best steak I’ve ever had! I would recommend this dish if only for the beer cheek croquettes it comes with.
Not a very good experience. Service was below average, never got asked if we wanted more drinks or dessert. Ordered the pork which was suppose to be honey and balsamic glazed but upon eating was covered in an unpleasant Moroccan seasoning which was very spicy. The menu never said anything about it being spicy so for someone that doesn't like spicy food it was pretty much inedible. They did offer to cook s plain piece which was nice. Upon paying still charged full price, would have been a nice gesture to get at least the 2 coffees free of charge. Will not be in a hurry to return
Luxury feel cafe/restaurant, with the best views over St Clair esplanade & beach. Friendly & helpful staff. Amazingly relaxing to sit with a coffee or a meal and watch the waves. Also great for a romantic evening meal.
VERY GOOD NEW HOTEL MANAGEMENT. THE BATTERED FISH WAS BEST IN TOWN ,GOOD SERVICE FROM HOTEL STAFF.
I have group lunches and dinners at this place and have always been happy with the food and service. A great space for a get together. Sometimes it takes a while to get the food but the views of the St. Clair Beach and the ambience of the place makes the wait not a very big issue.
Had very unpleasant meal here, steak overcooked and you would think they were herding the cattle to get it, took forever. The service is just rubbish, nobody cares and even coffees were cold. When questioned staff were quite aggressive ...shame
