Such a wonderful experience! I've been wanting to treat my husband to the full 'Barber Experience' and we couldn't have asked for more. Phil was such a pro and my husband came out of there feelin' as sexy as he is. Highly Recommend!!
Came here as a walk in on a nice Saturday morning and Phil welcomed me in a gave me the traditional barber experience. Had a great conversation and an even better high and tight one he was done. Shop had a great atmosphere and reminded me of my barber shop back home. Would definitely come here again!
I just happened to search for barber shops near me and Phil's popped up, so I gave it a go. Phil himself gave me the cut, and it was excellent. It might have been the best cut I've had in years. Basically, he took what I wanted and made it look good on me.
Also, Phil is a blast. I can't remember ever going to the barber seeking fun necessarily, but I sure as hell ran into some when I went to Phil's. The guy is absolutely a man of the people. His shop is the kind you see in the movies: mom and pop/small town/quaint and all that. All of this, and it has the atmosphere to match. My first time there, and every customer in there was talking to eachother and to me. It was very welcoming and Phil is the guy making it happen
So long as I'm still living in the area, I'm going to Phil's. There's no guarantee I'll find another place like it.
I started getting my haircuts at Phill's before the pandemic and still do to this day. I opted for the protection from Phill's cuts because they protected me from covid better than anything pfizer or moderna have on the market. My last cut also cured my monkeypox.
Phil does it right. Came in for a hot towel straight razor shave and Phil really has this mastered.
The neck massage is a big part of it.
Walk ins only... No appointments, No Reservations, first come first serve. Sit and wait in the nostalgic barber shop and enjoy the view.

Phill has been my barber and friend for 6 years. He gives the best haircuts ever. And more importantly he has kept the wonderful atmosphere of the barber shop from previous owner Gene Allen. Totally authentic and worth the price. You can not go wrong with a haircut at Phill's.
Needed to get my beard shaped up in a bad way. I have never let anyone touch my beard in 7 years, always done it myself, but I'm in town for work and forgot my trim kit. After a short wait with great conversation Phil sat me down, went through his plan, and came throughly a champ!
If you want that old school, laid back, barbershop vibe; then Phil's is the place for you.
