Old school pub with good pub food great shaded out door area witch was awesome on a hot summer day 5min form the beach.
A great country pub I would be happy to take my friends to. Food was well presented timely and really tasty. Very friendly clean and tidy. Fire gave a homely feel and good service. well done.
Quintessential kiwi County pub. Cold beer. Hot food. Locals. A cozy wood fire on a winters night. Plenty of memorabilia to peruse through. Loved it. Visited as part of the Wellington Fly Fishing Club trip.
Loved our lunch stop today. I had a salad bowl (huge) and crumbed fish & hubby had a Hawaiian burger with fries.
Both meals were delicious.

Cannot rate this place high enough! I rang at short notice and six of us were accepted with open arms! Huge, delicious meals! Fantastic service and atmosphere. Will be our ‘go-to’ from now on ????
Amazing little tavern with a beautiful outdoor seating area cold beer and a delicious menu.
Everything was cooked well and the service was very good with friendly staff.

Went for lunch at the tavern, and i will highly recommend it! Remotely located, this place has its charm. The welcoming and friendly owners offered us delicious meals with generous portions.
Unfortunately i didn't take pictures of the atmosphere inside, but the all place is convivial and cozy, ornamented with antique, vintage and family-oriented decorations.
Appraised by locals, it's definitely worth the stop.
