All of the tips were glued on facing up. The nails looked so crooked and I kept telling the nail tech that the nails didn’t look right and after many tries she still wasn’t able to fix them. She was the last person in the salon that day so there wasn’t anyone that could help. I called the next day to let them know how they looked and they told me to come in to get them soaked off for a refund. They had me waiting for an hour as they took many other clients then refused to remove them unless I payed them to soak. I used to come here all the time but I will never be back. The attitude and service was absolutely horrible.
My mani-pedi place! Today was a good day! Every manicure slot was filled but the pedi area was WIDE OPEN!!! I’ve had a variety of nail agents work on my hands & feet but I must say, the young man that worked on my feet today is the best! I felt nothing!!! The ladies know it can be hit or miss when they are trimming the cuticles on your feet. I did not feel a thing! Amazing! He also added oil to my feet, which the ladies haven’t done in the past! I only get a classic pedicure so I was in & out in an hour! The way my life is set up, that hour was absolutely perfect!
The employees are nice. They seem to do nice work as well, however they embellish prices. I was told straight SQUARE nails tips would be $5 extra. They then said it would be $20 extra for long nails. That’s ridiculous compared to other shops. On top of that, I called ahead to ask how much a no chip pedicure was, I was quoted $43. They added on another $15 for the no chip polish.I made sure to specify I wanted no chip polish yet they told me the price of a normal pedicure. It’s sad because the establishment seems like a nice place, the prices are just ridiculous for basic work.
Avoid this place! I came here for a fill and the tech kept adding prices to every little detail I asked for. I wanted almond shape nails and she said that was $5 extra, she asked if I wanted cut down and I said yes, she then said it would be $3 more. I told her never mind I’ll keep the length I have. She then told me the French tip I wanted would be another $10 more. I ended up paying $51 whereas other places I’ve been to only charge $25 and don’t add extra costs for literally everything.
Also, I arrived at 6:30pm and didn’t called on until 7:45pm. I waited that long because I was in desperate need of a fill, but I would have walked out immediately if that wasn’t the case. I’ll never come here again.
If the young lady whom sits in the first chair is not there (probably the owner)DO NOT say for service!!!!!! The service is terrible. I went in for a soak off and overlay, walked out with my nails completely cut off, the nail tech broke them, did not apologize and did a terrible terrible manicure. The worst service ever!!!!! I would give them zero stars if I could!!!!
Been coming here for years! Ping and Lynn are great! Lynn currently does my nails, I wanted an ombre effect, she's amazing! I've paid way more to have this done and it was subpar. Lynn does a phenomenal job, love my nails and I get so many compliments.
Always too quick, and nails are always shaped crooked. I have to file my nails or forgo any shaping. Techs at this salon do not listen to feedback. Lin (sp?), the manager, has to oversee every moment. I returned many times and still nothing changed. They also allow customers to talk loud on the phone, even some on their speaker phones. Walking distance from my house but I choose to go to Villa Park to one of the more professional salons.
Got my acrylics done and they are the most natural looking acrylics I’ve had!!!
