Genevieve Matthew’s is my local GP, who I find wonderful to work on my health with. She has a combination of a medical and holistic approach which a lot of GPs lack and she is very empathetic and professional. I think many medical centres are overwhelmed with patients and work loads these days and people just need to be a bit more patient and understanding towards the fact. I would recommend ngongotaha medical centre!
Genevieve mathews deserves a good rev up for neglecting me as a first time pregnant mother, with a head injury. YOU DONT DESERVE YOUR JOB GENEVIEVE. you don't deserve the roof over your head for what you did tomy body. I have a calcium deficiency because of you. All the way through my pregnancy and breast feeding, I've had a calcium deficiency because of USELESS gps like you.
I don't recommend Genevieve Matthews as a general practitioner. She doesn't know the system very well and is making my life very stressful. all she needs to do is some research and listen to her clients instead of trying to control them and forcing her ignorant opinion on them. I am 14 weeks pregnant and extremely stressed out because of this woman. stress stops me from eating and maintaining/gaining weight. she is putting my health and the health of my baby at risk.
this medical center is consistently inept and difficult to deal with. I was once accused of making up my pain by Dr Genevieve Matthews who I had to break down crying and beg for a referral to a specialist, before the specialist (Dr Ian Wallbridge) diagnosed me with CRPS (the worst pain condition known to man). I generally avoid GPs after the traumatising experience with Matthews, but today booked an appointment for 11:15 to get a psychiatrist referral for adult ADHD but Dr Louisa Barton called me at her own discretion at 9:40, then proceeded send my referral to a clinic which doesn't even accept adult ADHD patients. Now I have to waste even more money with this incompetent clinic or enroll somewhere else to get a simple referral done. Ngongotaha medical centre have made a routine habit of slowing down my health progress. Do not enroll here if you can avoid it
Your Receptionist is very RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. She called a Woman a Junkie embarrassed her and then threatened to call the police if she did not get out all that lady wanted was an apology THATS ALL but she took it to far . She seriously needs to take a course on how to be a better and decent human being. RUDE WOMAN NEEDS TO BE FIRED
Most demoralising, painful and abusive medical centre I’ve been to. Laughter, mockery and once I walked out crying. Told it was all mental when I really had a disorder. No apology. Very rude treatment. My usual dr I hated seeing so much and he treated my family like a bunch of idiots. One young woman was a piece of work, should’ve been sacked. Treated like a burden and “cash cow” for these drs so I kept going back. Would not recommend to anyone. Glad I fled this place. The whole thing traumatised me.
A minimising experience every time i go. please be aware even though i get anxiety tablets for flying with my job, approx every 3 months "these are not for recreational use" as expressed by the receptionist. demoralising and degrading again. my employer has even put me through the fear of flying course. disgusting treatment and will be looking for a practice that is empathetic and without an insular attitude towards a serious fear and the unnecessary projection of being a drug seeker.
I have been with this Doctors surgery since I was born. They have always been amazing and helpful. Thank you ????
