Best WLM Reviews
I recently dined at this Lebanese meze bar and I have to say, the food was absolutely fantastic! The lamb skewers were perfectly cooked and tender, the hummus was creamy and full of flavor, and the kebbe was crispy. But what really stood out to me were the Lebanese chicken wings - they had a delicious citrusy tang that was simply mouth-watering!
Although the staff were quite curt, they were incredibly efficient. Despite being busy, our orders were promptly taken and the food was served in a timely manner. Despite the initial impression, they were actually quite friendly and made sure that we had a good experience.
The atmosphere was lively and vibrant - I visited on a sunny Saturday afternoon and the square was bustling with families enjoying the weather, as well as people out socializing. It was a nice mix of people and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Lebanese cuisine in a lively atmosphere. The staff may come across as curt at first, but they are efficient and friendly. The food is outstanding, and the location is ideal, right next to a pre-metro stop. Don't hesitate to give it a try!
What looks so good here in the photo was unfortunately weak in taste and partly rotten. For example, the spring roll, which tasted like a stinky rag. My husband had the moussaka, which consisted here to 95% of overcooked red peppers swimming in oil. He had terrible stomach pain and nausea afterwards. - I'm kind of sorry to write such a critical review. I very rarely do this. It is also basically the case that the quality in Belgian restaurants is often outdated and of poor quality compared with international standards. - However, even if the service was super friendly, the experience with the food that has been served was very disappointing and disgusting. Sorry.
It seems like this place isn’t to well organised. Service is unfriendly and not to exited to explain you anything about the food. Despite the terrace not being to full, the food took a long time, our drinks finished and we had to almost run after the waiter to get new ones. The food is not bad but also not great. I don’t like being negative about a place but this place should really wake up. They have potential but it looks like they don’t really care. We saw people get up and leave before ordering because nobody came to them.
The food is not eatable. Full of oil and not fresh. You see the price, you think it is not expensive, but they fill the plate with salad. Horrible experience.
The tabouleh was basically just parsley, and not that much bulgur and big pieces of onion (7€) and the chicken wings were 5 very small pieces (€8).
I ended up drinking water because I asked for two other sodas on the menu but they didn’t have it. Only Coca Cola
There were a lot of people outside so we thought it seemed a popular place. I think a lot of places were closed so that's the reason it seemed busy. The service was slow & no-one was very friendly or smiley. The food was luke warm, quite tasteless & they filled the plates with salad to make it look like there was more on your plate. Nothing seemed very fresh. Very expensive for what we ate. Tried it, will not be going back, sorry.
disappointed, I don't know if it was a worse day for the staff or that's how it happened in general..
after an hour and a half in that I waited to receive my food, the young lady informed me that she forgot to put what I asked for on the list, I didn't even hear a little "I'm sorry", the first time I come here and for sure the last
Decent but basic Lebanese food. I recommend this place, nice restaurant on the Parvis.
