The very friendly owner of this restaurant made what was already an excellent visit even better by his sincere friendliness and helpful attentiveness. He came back to check on us several times, always concerned that the slickness of our dishes was good (it was perfect) and to ensure that we were having a good experience. We had a spicy cucumber dish, an exceptionally delicious heated wok of fried cauliflower and mabo dofu, a spicy dish of cubed tofu with ground pork. Everything was delicious and the ambience was comfortable and casual, yet elegant in its own way.
A real Chinese authentic restaurant in the heart of China Town nearby at Antwerp station. Fa is the waiter and he is very good host. The food was savoury I felt I was in China again. Must come here from 12:00 noon to 10 pm. They’re open except Tuesday. Make sure to order the spicy sichuan fried chicken, spare ribs with cumin and salt pepper spare ribs. The vegetarian rice is compliment. We take away pork belly sautéed too. I’m sure I will go back again. Lovey place nice cozy Chinese ambiance and music .
The chicken gizzard dish will live in my head rent-free for a long time. DELICIOUS!!!
Edit/update: Because of how mesmerised I was by this dish, I decided to order it on my way home from the office to pick it up. I called and made the order, and they asked how spicy I wanted it, and I asked for it to be medium hot because that was what I asked for last time, and it was great.
Let me tell you... I don't know what happened this time because "medium" as they prepared it caused my soul to temporarily leave my body. I will add a photo just to illustrate how many chillies I pulled out of half the portion (and I guarantee you there are the ones I ate before deciding this might be a good strategy, plus all the green ones that I thought were onions). For the love of all that is good, ask for it to not be spicy at all! And just so you know, I love my food quite spicy, so this is not me being a weakling. ????
That said, despite all the flames in my mouth and stomach, still absolutely DELICIOUS, and almost worth the intense pain. I highly recommend ordering here, just don't be brave like me asking for "medium spicy". ????????
Tasty Chinese dishes at correct prices. The fried rice was excellent and the portion quite big ???? It was full when we went so the service was a bit slow but still acceptable. Hopefully we booked a table to avoid queuing.
Hunan style chinese restaurant. The food tasted authentic and has good offer of various dishes, ranging from fish to pork, beef, duck and shrimp. Service is friendly and cosy.
Very friendly service, the chef modified the recipe to fit my allergens. Tasty mapo tofu and pork, and not that expensive! Would recommend.
