Weaknesses:
1. Racist Comments: One customer experienced racist remarks made by a hairstylist, creating a hostile and discriminatory environment. This behavior is completely unacceptable and can lead to a significant loss of customers, particularly those belonging to the Black community.
2. Negligent Stylist: A client claimed that their hair was damaged by a negligent stylist who did not follow proper procedures, leading to burnt and damaged hair. This highlights a lack of professionalism and knowledge within the salon, which can result in dissatisfied customers and potential legal issues.
3. Unprofessional Treatment: Several customers mentioned experiencing unprofessional and rude behavior from the salon staff. This includes speaking negatively about clients, laughing at their hairstyle choices, and treating non-Dominican or non-Spanish-speaking customers poorly. This creates a negative atmosphere and can drive customers away.
4. Lack of Organization: One customer mentioned the salon being unorganized, which can lead to longer waiting times and frustrations for clients. This lack of organization reflects poorly on the salon's management and can compromise the overall customer experience.
In conclusion, while Mary Salon Dominican Style has strengths in terms of expertise, positive hair transformations, good haircare results, and loyal customers, it also faces significant weaknesses in the form of racist comments, negligent stylists, unprofessional treatment, and a lack of organization. It is crucial for the salon to address these weaknesses and take appropriate measures to improve its overall service quality and customer satisfaction. Failure to do so may result in a loss of reputation and potential long-term damage to the business.

Best KBFKR Reviews

They do a wonderful job and are very knowledgeable on all hair types. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks and I have seen a change in my hair.
The dominican hairstylists at this location have been more openly making racist comments about Black patrons assuming that if arent fair then we probably can't speak Spanish. She was wrong about that. I understood. Im speaking specifically about the one directly across from the door. She went on a racist rant because I took my glasses of while they were blow drying my hair which resulted in me squinting. She decided that must of meant that I have an attitude and continued on about us "la negras" and her racist beliefs and her "problem" with Black girls. Behavior like this is completely unacceptable and I would not recommend their services to anyone, especially Black Women.
Eveyone knows that 1 skilled hairdresser/beautician, and won't trade them for the world. I frequent this establishment, because mine, finally got my hair to resume growth, after quite some time????????‍♀️????. Sophia, you rock.
I loved how my hair felt after the wash.
Definitely going back
The stylist truly ruined my hair. If I could sue I would. I’ve been natural for 5 years and now my hair is damaged because of a negligent stylist. She didn’t add any heat protectant to my hair. She blew it out while it was SOAKING wet which (now doing my research) I realized leads to further damage. I assumed she knew what she was doing because she’s supposed to be the stylist but clearly not. My hair has been washed and has this awful burnt smell to it because that’s exactly what it is— BURNED. It’s not shrinking back up and my ends look horrible. Avoid this place at all costs, especially if you have type 4 hair !!!
Staff speaks openly in Spanish about black customers. When are they going to understand some black people are Spanish too
They were very unorganized and rude. If you not Dominican they treat you like filth. The way they talked to me was unacceptable and I will never come back here again. I rather go back to the hair salon I usually take my daughter paying that price least I know they treat us very nice and organized. DO NOT COME HERE if you are CARRIBEAN or AMERICAN.
I was here last week and I wanted a style so I showed them. The two hair stylist laugh at the picture and was talking about it. I had to wait until the manger arrived in order to get my hair done. Rather go to another salon. unprofessional and rude. when you go at the salon the stylist isn't supposed to make your hair break out or ruin, or laugh about it , even if the client hair is shoulder length or longer.
