Absolutely brilliant meal today! We always like to try some local dishes and this place did not disappoint - we ordered 2 rabbit and plum dishes (lapin aux pruneaux), 2 meat dishes (carbonnades a la flamande) and I went for the house mussels. All came with chips and they are all very very tasty!
For desert we decided to have some waffles with chocolate, now don't get me wrong they were not bad but we have been somewhat spoilt by the fact that we did have waffles in Bruges a couple of days ago and they were divine so it was a real tough competition to beat but notheless still worth it. All finished with the most jazzy cappuccino I have ever had.
Also the gentleman who served us was extremely charming and helpful and made the whole experience a real delight.
Really good food, really nice staff and great value for price ratio!
Waiter explained us in a very friendly and kind manner all dishes if we had questions (menu is only available in French or Dutch/Flämisch).
We‘ll come back!

Zeer gezellig etablissement voor eenvoudige klassieke gerechten (deze plaats is niks voor vegetariërs…). Maar onze gerechten waren heerlijk en echt wel fair geprijsd. 1 tip “geïnspireerd op grootmoeders keuken”? Dan zou je je mayo zelf moeten maken! We betaalden 63 euro voor twee aperitieven, mosselen, steak en nog een drankje in het eten (dat men ons vergat aan te rekenen - toen ik dat meldde kregen we een limoncello van het huis)
Sommes passés ici pour boire un verre un samedi soir , ce n'était pas notre première fois et nous n'avons jamais été déçus. Les serveurs sont très sympathiques et serviables , ils ont le sourire

Une adresse incontournable ! Le restaurant est magnifiquement décoré, l'accueil et le service sont à la fois chaleureux et professionnels. Les plats sont délicieusement généreux, préparés avec des produits frais, et les recettes régionales sont un vrai délice à découvrir. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent. Une belle découverte que nous ne manquerons pas de revisiter. Bravo à toute l'équipe pour ce moment inoubliable ! Merci infiniment !"
