3. Lack of transparency with pricing: One customer mentioned that the shop was not transparent with its pricing, which can be frustrating for customers who may feel unsure of what they are being charged.
4. Poor nail quality: Some customers experienced issues with their nails, such as separation, overfilling, and burning during the curing process. Customers were also unhappy with the manager's refusal to refund the service.
5. Increase in charges: A long-term customer mentioned that the salon started charging extra for various services, such as shaping nails and gel application, which was not the case previously. This may have led to dissatisfaction among some customers.
Based on these comments, it can be concluded that Magic Nails and Spa has strengths in terms of quick service, quality work, friendly staff, long-lasting results, and a relaxing experience. However, they have weaknesses in terms of rushed service, lack of attention to detail, transparency issues with pricing, poor nail quality, and an increase in charges for various services. It is important for the salon to address these weaknesses in order to improve customer satisfaction and retain their clientele.

Best KBFKR Reviews

Overall, we were happy with our pedicures. We called twenty minutes before arriving and they were able to get us in. The place was super busy and I did feel like maybe we should have come on a day where it was less busy. We both enjoyed our pedicures but felt like the ladies were very inattentive and we're just doing the job to get with the next waiting client. I understand that it is a business but just felt somewhat of a rush on the workers part to get the job done and move on. We would go back but in a less busy day for sure. My daughters no chip turned out exactly how she wanted it and my watermelon style turned out nice except she forgot the white line between the pink and the green. If u enjoy a more relaxed not rushed pedicure then go when they are not busy.
Best manicure ever!! I used to go Downtown to get a decent nails. Now I’m glad that I find this place. Vicky did an amazing job with my nails . I’ll definitely come back! (GIRLS!! They put warm hand cream making a super relaxing massage. SO GOOD!!!)
Very friendly staff and excellent service! I recommend calling in to schedule your appointments because you get it SUPER fast/almost right away! Ryan and Win are SO good with manicures! Overall wonderful salon!
Great salon! Best I’ve found in the area. Both no chip manis and acrylics last longer than anywhere else I’ve tried (2 weeks for no chip and 3-4 weeks for acrylic nails). The salon gets busy so I recommend always calling ahead and making an appointment. Prices are on the higher side but I find it worth it since I don’t have to go as often.
I travel 27 miles now for magic nails. This place has employees like a "clown car," more and more employees just keep coming out of the back room. Just when you think that there couldn't possible be one more employee out on the floor, 3 more come out.
It's awesome!
All that aside, they have an amazing nail salon with amazing employees too, all very talented, all work well together. Been going there for about ten years now. They switch the furniture up every 3-4 years, just got new chairs for the manicure stations.
I get the parifin treatment pedicure, no color, no clear coat, just buff, with cheese(jjk). I'm always feeling great when I am leaving there, and my wife loves it too.
This place is the best we have found.
The shop is not transparent with their pricing. The technician took too long to apply the full set of nails. They overfiled the nailbed and were stingy with the acrylic powder. The technician then mixed and matched products which burned my fingers while curing under the uv lights. I could smell the burning while they cured. Because the technician took his time, I ran late for another appointment despite giving myself enough time. A full set of acrylic nails with no art should not be $80.00 nor should they take longer than an hour from start to finish. I sat in the chair from 140p-310p. My appt was at 245p. In all my years of getting nails I've never had this bad of an experience.
I got my nails done on a Thursday, by Saturday night I could see my nails were separating from the tips. They were closed for a holiday Sunday and Monday, so I went in Tuesday and after the offered to just file away the area that is separating, or glue it down I suggested a whole new set as 6 nails had separated, and one nail had shattered. Got a new set.
I had to go back 2 days later because they were separating AGAIN. This time I asked for my money back, which the manager refused. She glued my tips down and tried to tell me not to pick at my nails. That’s not what I’ve been doing, and my nails have never had this issue at my regular nail salon. If they were done well, They shouldn’t be able to be separated.
Before the weekend was over my nails were separating and whatever glue she used was long gone. Here I am 6 days after my new set with one nail that had separated away, real nail broke off a few days ago, now the dip has broken... and as you can see my thumb has a small chip on the side. My middle finger does as well.
Maybe some of the products went bad, or the nail tech is newer, but the manager’s attempt to blame me, then her refusal to return my money just doesn’t sit right with me.
Update: since I posted this 2 days ago, I have more broken nails. I went in today and asked for my money back, manager refused. She tried saying that they can’t cover if I break a nail because she doesn’t know what I do with my hands... again blaming me for their poor work.
Jackie was great. My nails look great. Very friendly and helpful. They do not do as good of a job as they used to... they are charging for everything, shaping nails in any shape is$5 more. $10 more for gel... extra for everything at this salon. I have gone here for 3 years but won't be going back...
