In analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of Lizbeth Dominican Hair Salon, it is evident that their customer service and quality of service are major weaknesses. Multiple comments highlight the rude and unprofessional behavior of some staff members, including yanking and jerking hair, refusing to provide services, and disrespectful conversations in Spanish about customers. These incidents not only undermine the salon's reputation, but they also show a lack of respect and consideration for customers. Additionally, the unauthorized use of chemicals and resulting damage to natural hair raises concerns about the staff's competence and professionalism.
Another weakness mentioned by customers is the salon's pricing and additional charges for detangling thick, long, and coarse hair. This could potentially discourage customers from returning or seeking services, as they feel unfairly treated and burdened with extra costs. The comment about services becoming too expensive further reinforces the notion that the salon's prices may not be competitive or in line with customer expectations.
On the other hand, some customers praise specific stylists and their skills, such as Celia and Raquel, for their hair straightening abilities. Customers also appreciate the reasonable prices and convenience of the salon, particularly for those who work or are retired. The fast service and teamwork mentioned in one comment highlight positive attributes of the salon that create a pleasant experience for customers who are looking for efficient and quality service.
It is important to note that the strengths and weaknesses identified in the comments represent the experiences and opinions of individual customers. While some customers had positive experiences and highlighted specific stylists, others had negative experiences and expressed dissatisfaction with the overall service, professionalism, and treatment received at the salon. The salon should take these comments into consideration and work towards addressing the weaknesses in order to improve customer satisfaction and attract a larger clientele.

Some of the stylist here does an excellent job. I love bringing my daughters here but my issue is what I didn't use get charged for they are now charging for it. THICK LONG COURSE HAIR! Even if I wash, deep condition and moisturize to detangle prior to arrival I'm still being told they'll have to charge to detangle. Also their services are getting to high, it's a wonder why customers desire to not leave until their hair is done right
HORRIBLE!! DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THESE RUDE, UNGRATEFUL WOMEN! My mom just left this salon and she had a horrible experience! My mom has been getting her hair done for over 40 years and never has she had someone yanking her hair and jerking her hair with such force, repeatedly. She asked the lady to please calm down and the lady shoved the comb in her face and said, "Well, you do it!" My mom then stated she did not want her doing her hair anymore and tried to ask the other beauticians if they could wash her hair. The woman who was washing my mom's hair hopped in between yelling, "No, they're not gonna do it. No one's gonna wash your hair. You untangle your own hair!" And so my mom walked out. Disgusting. Horrible customer service. Please, people in our community, stop giving them business because they DO NOT appreciate us!
DO NOT SIT in the lady first chair. She will burn your hair. She doesn’t know how to do a Dominican blow out. and she also bleached my hair and is now falling out, She kept the bleach in my hair for too long. She doesn’t care about customer hair at all. ????????????????
I went in for a silk press on my natural hair. I have been natural for 20+ years and chemicals were used in my hair without my consent causing severe damage, This was deceptive as they negatively talked about my hair and the other women of color in Spanish thinking we weren’t familiar with Spanish. They need to loose their license totally unacceptable.
I absolutely love this place I came in with glue cap on my head filled with glued they managed to help me get it out plus wash & set also very fast very nice shop open on time they also work as a team ????. I’ll be back
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RACIST. This is my second time coming to this salon and my first experience was terrible, but it is the only salon within walking distance from my home. I don’t have a car today, so I decided to give them another chance due to them being so close. First of all.. when you walk into this salon, they just stare at you and give you a side eye look. My daughter’s hair tangles very easy, and I explained her ends were damaged and she needed a haircut. While my daughter is walking over to get her hair washed, I hear them talking about me + my daughter in Spanish. Little do they know, I speak Spanish myself. One of the stylists actually said she was going to take my daughter to do her hair but changed her mind because of me. I have never had a bad encounter with any of these people, and have always been more than respectful and polite, so I don’t understand where this energy is coming from NOR do I appreciate the blatant disrespect. To sit there and keep making comments in Spanish about me and my daughter is crazy, especially because I can understand every word that’s being said. After today, I will never come here again. I don’t care if I have to take a $100 taxi, I’m refuse to come here.
They treat you with respect. All the hairstylist are the bomb especially mines Rubi. The price are reasonable and it is convenient for people who work and who are retired.
Been going to them since they opened up.Love this place. Celia is the best. Raquel is awesome too. They both straighten our hair enough to last at least a week or better. They always do an awesome job. Idk the woman who washes my hair often but she has a mug but she is very nice.. Love them all.. ????????????????❤????????????..
