Amazing historic and English breakfast, lovely relax atmosphere with friendly staff highly recommended
If 6/5 existed then I'd give it!
We had a selection of beautifully prepared breakfasts here. I went for the 'English' (naturally). It was a lovely Belgian take on a full English. My little one enjoyed a selection of different flavoured mini croissants and washed it down with a hot chocolate. My wife went for the full shebang with the L'Histoire, a fine selection of meats, cheeses, breads, granola, fruit, yoghurt, egg etc.. easier to say what it didn't come with to be honest. We also enjoyed more coffee than we could drink between us.
The gentleman who welcomed us was lovely, a master of his craft, the service was impeccable! Made us feel at home. We were sat outside on the terrace which was a lovely atmosphere. My son really enjoyed looking at the fish in the pond and playing on the swings. He was quick to make friends with the two little pigs at the bottom of the yard. At the end of our breakfast the host broke out the bouncy castle which was great as we could enjoy the coffee in the morning sun while he let off some steam.
Incredible value. Don't waste your money on a rip-off hotel breakfast when this place is just round the corner and you'll get so much more for the same or less.
The menu wasn't in English but the host was happy to translate. I let Google Lens do it and I've uploaded the result for your perusal.
