We went to Vaudrée II, but it was closed due to renovation. So was the bottle shop. So we walked to Vaudrée I instead. We arrived in the lunch rush, so it was busy but the waiters were very friendly and helpful. We came to taste beers because we heard they have a large beer menu. The beer list is large (50-60) but not very exciting, mostly typical blondes and ambre and only a few more exciting types as geuze, kriek and lambic. Some of these quite boring lindemans. The flemish red Duchess of Bourgogne was an exciting taste of a very special and rare type.

No lunches are served just beer. But what an selection. Place is very noisy.
Food was fine, service was pleasant and quick and selection of beer was really broad.

Service was very friendly, food was a little slow to come out but was delicious. The Aperitif Maison was nice too.
Nice and big selection of belgium beers. Food and ambience make it a good taverne.
