Nice place on the main square to have a nice drink. And Leffe is always nice, so good name to attract attention. It feels quite small which is good. Staff was ok.
The view of the square or the terrace outside is nice. Though this time there was a carnival going on.
Haven't had any food, so cannot comment on that part.
Food is not ideal however the service is rlly good, had multiple portions where of 1 the fries were not baked through, half of the pasta on pasta dish was hard other half was cooked well, meatballs tasted like frikandel,..
What a surprise! Kudos to the chef!???? We didn't expect to have such a first class meal in this "bruin café".

Didn't have food but nice little place for a drink on the square. Decent service and beer
Nous étions deja venu plusieurs fois pour boire un coup dans ce restaurant bar cosy sur la belle Grand Place de Mons. Nous apprecions l endroit. Et ce jour de pluie, nous voulions manger, mais il était tard, passé 14h20.
Pourtant un trés bon accueil nous fut dispensé.
Nous avons bien mangé, c etait bon et copieux.
Les prix sont aussi corrects (pizza prosciutto 13 euros - penne 18 euros)... le serveur etait agréable et pro (il s enquiert de votre bien etre pendant le repas).
Nous reviendrons.
