Hands down one of the best waffles in Brussels , the ambiance is Ok it is Very touristic but worth it , I strongly recommend the liege waffle instead of the Brussels one as it’s way better regarding the flavor / texture ratio as well as the sugar pearls that take the sweetness to a whole other dimension .
There's the same place with seating across the street. The waffles were AMAZING, prices are OK too, although you have to pay 1EUR more for sitting. The servers were overall kind. Atmosphere a little too crowded, no decorations but OK, and clean. They should give fork and knife bc it was very hard to eat with the stick
Just located beside the famous Mannekin pis, best Belgian waffle i had tried. It’s just that only for take out and no table available to dine it.
The waffles here are tasty, fresh, and hot, but difficult to eat with the little wooden fork they give you! For some reason the waffles with fruits are significantly more expensive than the waffles without, just something to note; it's not really worth the price jump in my opinion. Service was good and fast, great for a quick drop by when you're visiting Manneken Pis.
Great prompt and friendly service. Ordered a hot chocolate which was really nice, not too rich or chocolatey. Also of course ordered a waffle! They make their whipped cream fresh on sight (which you can see them doing behind the counter), had ours with chocolate, cream strawberries and banana. Recommend!
The plain waffle was fresh and delicious!
We were led here as part of a walking tour by a local and the waffles were served hot and fresh! Definitely among the best waffles we had during our trip.
Lovely place just a short walk from Grand Place. The waffle I ordered looked and tasted absolutely deliciously sinful. It was quite filling too????. I have never been into waffles but Le Funambule has totally converted me!
Request for extra serviettes because it creates a delightful mess loool.
Its so close to Mennenkin Pis so can’t be missed. We enjoyed our waffle here, took first with strawberry & cream which was 10 euros, then saw the prices of other ones with just cream which were 5.4 euros.
Just adding strawberries didn’t justify that much price difference, though being it my first waffle in Belgium I enjoyed them and they were indeed very good in area around.
So I will recommend them if you are in Brussels.
