Ho avuto l’onore e l’occasione di poterci mangiare. È stata un esperienza culinaria eccezionale, un connubio di semplicità ricercata nei più piccoli dettagli dal quale emerge la maestria e l’esperienza di uno chef al quale faccio i miei più sinceri complimenti. Un piatto più buono dell’altro, avevo le papille gustative che esultavano dalla felicità ????. Per farvi comprendere anche se non sono abitudinaria dei dolci ed ero realmente sazia, ho assaggiato il gelato artigianale alle mandorle:poesia pura. Se vi piace il mangiar bene e bere bene ( carta dei vini notevole) dovete andarci.Grazie dell’esperienza non ho parole e ne competenze per poter descrivere le sensazioni che a distanza di giorni mi donano ancora piacere. Tutto ciò è stato inserito in una location raccolta, riservata, esclusiva, ricca di storia con vista sul Canal grande accompagnato da uno staff di alto livello che ha saputo egregiamente valorizzare il percorso culinario senza che abbia subito alcuna invasione da parte di essi.( in alcuni posti sembra di mangiare con il personale..????????♀️)

We went as a party of 6, 5 adults and 1 child, in June of 2023. We did not have a reservation and arrived about 4:30 to ensure we got a good table outside. The location of this restaurant is amazing! Outdoor seating right along the Grand Canal. It is located in the Ca’ Segredo Hotel. We were not staying at the hotel.
The food was one of the best meals I’ve had in Italy, and I’ve eaten at a lot of places! The service was amazing, both gentlemen were very patient with us and made our toddler laugh throughout the meal, and gave great recommendations on wine. This is one of those meals that will live forever in my mind. The food, the ambience, and of course the company kept all made it wonderful. I cannot wait to come back!
If you want to sit on the Grand Canal without the crowds this is the perfect place for you. You will never stumble across this hotel restaurant. The waterside tables are not along a path or piazza. Our food was above average, the setting and service were impeccable. If you want the highest cuisine in Venice this is not your spot. If you want a lovely experience with enjoyable food and service without the crowds then this is your hidden gem.

Le 10/10/2023 vers 19h30, diner avec mon épouse sur la terrasse de l'Alcova . Endroit charmant au bord du Grand Canal.
Nous prenons 2 plats de pates aux vongole (palourdes) et 2 tiramisu pour dessert. 3 verres de vin blanc et 1 bouteille d'eau en boisson.
Vers 21h en fin de repas, le maître d'hôtel me présente l'addition manuscrite illisible (voir photo) et m'accompagne à la réception de l'hôtel pour le paiement.
Je demande alors au concierge de l'hôtel une facturette aux normes. il me répond que le service est fermé, qu'il ne peut nous faire qu'une photocopie de l'addition manuscrite. Je paye la note malgré tout.
Environ 2 heures après notre retour dans notre chambre d'hôtel, mon épouse et moi ressentons de vives brulures dans le ventre et des envies pressentes d'aller aux toilettes.
Les douleurs nous empêchent de s'allonger et de dormir jusqu'à 4h30 du matin.
Les douleurs et ballonnements ont persistés les 5 jours suivants en diminuant peu à peu.
Nous en avons conclu que nous avons été victimes d'une intoxication alimentaire dans ce restaurant.
