-The "cantine" is located on the bank of the canal, however there is no view. The tables are located in the inner garden of the compound and designed more like cafe/bistro style rather than a restaurant.

-The menu is standard Italian style but lacks variety on the seafood and meat sections. Overall beverage menu is satisfying.

-The service is undermanned, but waiting times are normal depending on the complexity of your order. The prices are at the same level with other casual restaurants in the area. I must say I generally find the restaurants over priced in Belgium when compared to other parts of Europe.

-It is a nice place to stop for a snack and a refreshment, other than that there is nothing special about this place.

What a disgrace....after ordering coffee and cappuccinos got as an answer from a girl with a smug look...we don't have coffee. After a 2 hours walk came back and as per magic they had coffee which I pickup inside where all looked messy.
